Introduction
What made you interested in computers?
My dad, firstly- he's always been into computers, as far as I can remember. Then in 5th grade, I was part of an after school program and I'd always hang out with my computer teacher [how nerdy is that?]. I even assembled my first computer with her! Ever since, I've had a love for them. Even though I'm not really savvy with the newest hardware, I love putting them together.
What is the biggest imbalance in this game?
The fact that it’s not easy enough for me to win all the time.
In all seriousness, imbalanced pig [Bristleback] scares the crap out of me whenever I’m in a game or scrim against him. I don’t really see it as an imbalance though, more of a situation I don’t know how to control or handle.
What is the most effective weapon for a str/agi/intel hero you have used?
Questions to Korini
How do your folks react to them if you say "Hey Am a Progamer!"
Initially my parents didn’t think too much of it since it wasn’t too organized when I first joined. Now though, they’re really supportive, as long as it doesn’t interfere with my school work. They always ask me how the team’s been doing, and they even tell my relatives about it! All they want is for me to be happy, and if it’s professionally playing games, they’re all for it. My mom even joked about me being on G4 [what used to be TechTV] one day.
How over-rated is standard Warcraft 3, in your opinion?
Team Questions
What is the best part about playing with your team?
We all get along great, and we’re really supportive of each other. Miss-Rinoa [Neha] keeps us in line when we need it, and I think that’s really important. Being all supportive and positive sure helps, but when it comes down to it I think we need to be blunt sometimes in order to improve. Like before I joined the team, my friends would always get really sarcastic about auto-attacking creeps, and if I didn’t last hit they basically would kick me out of their lane. That made me learn really, really fast.
Have you'll met in real life once? What did you'll do?
Yes! Oh gosh, yes. Most of our team has met, except Miss-Tifa [Daniela] since she’s currently the only one that is international. The rest of us [Miss-Rinoa, Sunie, Aeris, Ashe, Selphie, and myself] met in our first LAN event, Fire in Ice in Chicago. Most of the time Miss-Ashe and Miss-Selphie were with their other friends, but the rest of us spent a lot of time together hanging out and just having fun. It was definitely a positive experience for our team.
Conclusion
Would you travel to another country to take a shot at pro-gaming if offered?

The Origin~
It was actually a name I created when I was still playing WoW, and I thought it was the perfect nickname
The Hotkeys~
Custom! I just remap my inventory, the rest are the same.
The Groupings~
1 for hero 2 for courier.
The Configuration~
It's imba bad.
The First Game~
My friend invited me, and I actually picked SA unknowingly as my first. Luckily either the people in my game were really patient, or they were learning too cause I wasn't yelled at That was over 2 years ago though.

Do you think you're on your way to becoming a progamer? What has been the situation till now?
Slowly, but surely I certainly hope. Before this, I've been gaming just for fun. The thought of being "pro" never entered my mind until I joined the team really, I didn't think I'd even be good enough to be considered; I'm glad Miss-Rinoa found me though! I think with enough practice, our team can definitely be a force to be reckoned with at events or in tournaments.
LAN Gaming
What according to you has been the most funny situation in a LAN event?
That reminds me of the Fire In Ice LAN that we recently attended, I miss everyone that we met there! The most funny was probably when a handful of the LAN attendees were playing Rock band in the office. One of our friends, Sweets, is totally a rock star in the making and has the best vocals for singing Maps by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. One of the LAN staff, Ruben, comes in a close second.
What is your impression of Asian players? Their manners and skill?
They are so impressive, it makes me sad that I don’t have their skill! . Most of the time, they’re so incredibly well mannered too. I met Moon and Sweet at the very first event I attended as a part of PMS, and I’m sure they get crazed fan girls swarming them all the time, but they were really nice about autographs and pictures. I actually had to act out what I wanted to ask since there’s a language barrier, it was pretty silly but very cute.
Chilling with the pros!
Real Life
In real life whom would you consider to be your role model and why?
I don’t have a definite role model, it’s kind of a mix of everyone I know. I aspire to have some of my friends skills in gaming, while others I just wish I could be as cool as them. ;D My boyfriend, H2O Rip, has so many accomplishments and things like that it kind of makes me wish I didn’t goof off so much during college… But I love my life, I have no regrets. I’ll reach all my goals with all my friends’ help, how long it’ll take me only time will tell.
What are your hobbies?
Gaming, of course! If it’s not DotA, I’m on my 360 being terrible on Halo3, or rocking out on Guitar Hero or Rock band. Otherwise, I’m probably glued to my monitor chatting away and surfing the internet. When school starts back up again, you’ll probably find me behind a biology book. I’m not a nerd, I swear.

What is the most effective weapon for a str/agi/intel hero you have used?
Shiva’s Guard on Zeus. I don’t know how many times that Area of Effect slow effect has saved me, especially since zeus has a smaller attack range than a “regular” ranged hero. Sometimes you just get caught in that situation… And I’m thankful I bought that item. Most of the time though, I play strength heroes like Beastmaster or Sven, on rare occasion Sand King – when I play the latter, I absolutely love Blink Dagger and/or Black King Bar. They do wonders!

How over-rated is standard Warcraft 3, in your opinion?
I don’t think it’s THAT overrated… I love playing ladder games. Watching Moon and Sweet and even H2O Technoboy play at my first event with PMS was amazing. I even participated in the GGL tournament they held and placed for qualifying!.. And then I lost gracefully to WinNerS. Honestly, I never even knew that playing standard Warcraft 3 was that big. Then watching the pros play I was like… WOW their micro is amazing. Makes my recreational ladder playing look really really amateur.

Conclusion
Would you travel to another country to take a shot at pro-gaming if offered?
Absolutely. I’ve never been outside of the USA, or been off the east coast until this recent LAN event, so it would be an awesome opportunity for me. Of course, I’d have to build myself up to get to have that offered, but I definitely hope someday it’ll happen.
Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
Done with school, working full time, and definitely gaming. Whether it be professionally or recreationally, it’ll always be in my life somehow. I think it’d just be neat to have a random person come up to me and say, “Oh gosh, you’re Miss-Korini on PMS^Miss!” I guess I want a little bit of that limelight, just to know what it’s like. Then I can go back to being another face in the crowd. Of course, real life comes first, so if I have to go on a temporary hiatus I don’t mind... as long as I make a return.
