Hello Javax, could you please introduce yourself for our audience here at Fnatic.com?
My name's Ian Leckey, I'm from Northern Ireland but currently live in England as part of my university studies, and I'm general manager of The Last Resort.

The last resort have been seen to be one of the up and coming eSports teams so far this year. Would you care to give us a little introduction about your team?
The Last Resort was started in 2003, by Michael Robinson, who continues to manage the team to this day. We've been known for our ability to spot talent, and project unknown teams to top levels in UK and European gaming. At this moment in time we have 3 teams, Counter-Strike 1.6 who are the Kode5 UK representatives, Team Fortress 2 who are widely considered the best TF2 team in the UK, and we also have a Quake 3 duel player, nVc who is currently training for the ESWC UK qualifiers.

The last resort have recently lost, possibly their most successful team, in the now MYM.cod4. Why do you believe the team wanted to leave?
Well with excellent results at a number of CoD4 LANs, more recently CDC4 and i33, people began to take notice. It's obvious they were destined for great things, and with other G7 teams picking up the game, it's easy to suggest that they were a target. MYM, being one of the biggest teams in the world, are a little out of our league in terms of the contractual support that we can offer.

There have been many rumours, that as an organisation TLR have lodged/are going to lodge and official complaint the g7 teams over MYM's handling of the transfer. Can you confirm or deny these rumours?
Well, indeed we're not happy how the transfer was handled by MYM and I've now made my position clear to the G7. Whether or not they understand it as an official complaint, we'll have to wait and see.

So for confirmation, you have emailed the g7 about MYM's conduct?
I have contacted the G7 to fill them in on the nature of the transfer.

Why have you decided it was necessary to email the g7 about the transfer of the Call of Duty4 team to MYM?
Because to this day, MYM have not contacted me, or anyone else in the TLR management about the transfer. I did manage to contact morg (mym.cod4 manager) the night before the announcements were made, but he actually denied that MYM were picking up a UK team.

I must point out, I'm not complaining against the transfer, I wish the new MYM.cod4 team all the best at this excellent opportunity. I am only complaining about the way it was handled by MYM.

What would you say to people who are calling your complaint a 'goodwill' case, and that nothing will come as 'the g7 wont care'?
To them I'd simply say: "I hope you're wrong".

In a perfect world, what action do you wish the g7 to take?
I wish the G7 would take whatever action they see fit. I only ask that they review the case in an unbiased manner.

Do you not feel that a public reprimand of MYM's actions would be suiting?
Again, I'll leave it to the G7 to decide what action to take, and whether they want to go public with it or not. I'll leave it in their capable hands.

Where do TLR as an organisation go from here?
Well we've got two holes to fill in TLR now. We'll be looking to add a Counter-Strike: Source team after we released the old team last week, and of course we'd love to enter back into the Call of Duty 4 scene. I can't say a time frame, but we're definitely in no rush and for the meantime will continue to support our current teams until the time comes to re-enter the CSS and CoD4 scenes.

Thank you for your time Mr.Leckey, do you have any final shout outs or comments?
I'd like to wish the MYM.cod4 team the best of luck in the future. I'd also like to say a big thank you to Tagan for their continued support, and AMD for their support at i33. Shouts go to the entire TLR family, and extended thanks to Acase, Dustworld, Spire, Bouncer4You, Wzzrd and Starbytes. Also thanks for the interview Bidy.

well youre up against the biggest organisation atm, i doubt anyone wants to go against them, even G7.

TLR seems like a really cool clan since they were spotted on cod4 scene, i hope they can regain that momentum once again.

MYM is all about money and no fun, i wish they would lose every war from now on after doing such dirty move.
