Post ESWC Masters:
Interview with cArn - After the Masters of Paris
Hey Patrik! Back from Paris, what are your first thoughts regarding the tournament and the outcome?
It was a really busy week, have been resting since my arrival back home. I feel pretty satisfied about our results, with exception of the final where we did not manage to reach our game at all. MTW played better and deserves the win, lets now look forward and learn from it.
There's also a small amount of bad luck involved in it as well isn't it? facing mTw in 2 grand finals on one of your weakest maps?
Actually it was due to our map elimination choice that we played dust2. We knew from our practise games versus MTW, that dust2 is not their best either. But with the outcome, of course you feel a bit disappointed how everything went.
After the bootcamp days, the team said they had worked on their weak maps and that the overall flow was looking good, how exactly did you work out these maps and your problems on it?
Basically, you have to keep in mind what went wrong with earlier set-ups. We did this and also improved our aim, which made all our maps better. Hard to explain it in a simple way, but basically, play alot and try new things, and you will improve.
Was ESWC Masters of Paris slightly less competitive for you since you had already qualified for the Grand Finals and the prize money was compartivley smaller than most tournaments?
Nah, it felt like a real big tournament even that it was not the main event. Almost each and every top team attended and we really did our best to achieve well.
I see, with eStars-Seoul coming up in a couple of weeks what are you looking to improve? Will there be a big bootcamp, considering the prize at stake?
We will have a week off now, when everyone get back we will play from our home, so no bootcamp this time.
Alright! thanks for your time!

Interview with DNA:
Hey DNA! Whats been your preparation like for this tournament? It's been pretty regular, nothing special I played my standard 6-8 games a day and thats about it.
What is you practice schedule like?
Well, earlier it was maybe 10-15 games a day but since Warcraft 3 isn't so much fun or exciting for me I would have to say that I play around 6-8 games a day.
Some weeks back you were beating the best players out there, beating Moon and Lucifer in the WC3L and the NGL ONE leagues since then there's been a steady decline in your performance. Care to explain?
Well, as I said, Warcraft 3 isn't so exciting for me its not fun anymore, so I decided to cut down on the amount of games I play now.
I see, is this your first time in Paris? How do you find it so far? It's really nice, I haven't seen much of it yet because I just arrived yesterday in the evening and I hope I can get a better look at Paris in the next day or two!
Could you give your top 3 picks for this tournament?
Sky, Grubby and myself.
How come your wearing a Hoorai tshirt, I thought you guys were dropped (DNA was wearing a Hoorai tshirt through all his games)
Yes, we aren't part of them anymore but since they paid for my trip to Paris I thought it would be a good idea to wear their colors one last time!
Do you have any future plans to continue gaming? Maybe pursue a professional gaming career?
No, not really, I don't have any of those pro-gamer dreams. I am not to sure of where I will head to either after this. Maybe I will take a step back from the scene. Let's see what the future brings!
Thank you and good luck DNA!
More coming soon!

fnatic.cs needs to change part of there line-up, I said this after EM and I haven't changed my mind. The current line-up can do reasonably well but they won't win anything big, they've lost that little bit of extra that you need.
In the match against mtw they where also extremely outplayed aim wise, something you didn't see 1 year ago.

mTw was too strong for us in dust2. They won almost all face 2 face situations. GG and nice try anyway
