This years World Cyber Games, held in Cologne, Germany, once again proves it's one of the biggest eSports events in the world. An amazing amount of prize money will be given away, $408,000 and hardware worthy of $62,000 which will be divided over fourteen games. The kick off will be at the 5th and closure at the 9th of November.

fnaticMSI will be active in the FIFA 08 and Warcraft 3 competition. Jorge "BuBa" Gutierrez and David "Maximo12" Arboli are two of the Spanish players qualified for the FIFA WCG tourney, where the Korean Hyosub "FoCuS" Eom qualified for Warcraft 3, who has just returned from an unsuccessful adventure at MGC.

Not only fnaticMSI players will be attending, also general manager Elroy "Noname" Pinto is in Germany to support the teams and make some awesome photo's!

• Update: Both BuBa and FoCuS got knocked out early in the tournament and thus did not make it through the groupstages. Maximo12 did make it through to the playoffs finishing second in his group.
  

• Update 2: Maximo12 gets knocked out of the playoffs against Walkman finishing top 5-8th. There are reports of some issues and conflicts with the admins surrounding this result.
