Opening the Box:
When I had received the keyboard I was very skeptical, I had only ever heard good reviews on it and I generally disagree with most reviews, especially ones exclaiming how great a product is and how much I will love it more than my current one.

pictureOpening the box I found there was more inside than just my keyboard. Steel Series had given me the sticker, and all the pamphlets, etc. but also an adapter which I was excited to see. To be honest the adapter comes in handy. However I chose to use PS2 so I would not suffer from any ghosting.

I noticed immediately that I had a 'Euro style' keyboard (smaller backspace and shift buttons, and a larger Enter button). Coming from the opposite of that, it was very annoying at the start, constantly pressing the wrong keys when trying to Caps something or backspace a mistake. However if you use your computer as much as I do -At least 6 hours a day- then you will get used to it within 2 days. I spoke to other people who said it took them a little longer to get used to it, but obviously it's not a big deal.
