Summertime is soon here! Its so nice with some sun, finally! I have been abit off lately because I have been in Norway
visiting my family and been working a lot, but now its time for a lot of Counter-Strike again.

The 19th of June you can see us all at Dreamhack, both the male and the female team will be going.
We will be playing the BYOC tournament like we always do and hopefully this time we can be one of the teams
making it through to the pro-tournament. We have been close before, but sadly we didn’t make it yet.
 
I hate that I am getting older, like I am going to be 26 this year. I am almost freaking out because I feel like
the world and the time is going so much faster than what it’s supposed to. I am working fulltime and I am playing
with the team everyday after work, so it’s like I am working from I get up in the morning until I go to bed at night.
I wish I could just live off playing, then I wouldn’t have to stress so much, I wouldn’t have to struggle to get time off
work to go places and I wouldn’t have to plan everything that I do, having a fulltime job makes the possibility of being
that impulsive girl that I have always been, impossible. I need time off for events, time off to go to Norway and visit my
family that I hardly ever see, time off for holidays. I miss those 2 months of summer holidays that you had when you
went to school, would be great having that again, but I must admit I don’t miss going to school ;)
 
I think Dreamhack will be fun, we will mostly be at the MSI boot, so if you are looking for us Im sure you can find us
there. Its gonna be nice to play a tournament again and a nice way to prepare for ESWC. After Dreamhack we will go
up to Stcokholm and hold a bootcamp and then we will leave for France.

I think its really sad that there is only 12 teams that gets to go to France this year, its a big step back for femalegaming I

will say as it is so important for those teams who havent yet reached the top to have a taste of the great competition

and event that ESWC has always been, if they dont get to experience these events they might not see that female CS is something really worth fighting for. It has been the #1 major event for females. they have already given 2 spots to France

as they always do and when the list will be published only 6 of the applying teams will be going to the finals.

Its funny to think about that I went to my first ESWC in 2005 with Cyotos, then in 2006 I went there with Les Seules, 2007 with Les Seules mix and then 2008 with mym.seules / MYM. ESWC is the one thing that makes you really wanna play and fight to become the best, it is so important, but thankfully now we also have ESL and Arbalet and I hope they will all be around for a while. WCG likes to call themselves 'The Olympics' of Esports, but hey! where is the girl competition? Aint no Olympics without us! And stop saying we should play in the guy torunament, because if you didnt know, male and female are built differently and use their brains in different ways so no we should not compete with eachother. Hope the people behind WCG can see this and host a female torunament aswel ;)
