Hi, this is my little summary of the IEM: Shanghai tournament, enjoy... I hope.

Day Two, we were placed in the group B. Which meant, that we will be playing on the second day of the tournament. So this is meaning that we will start on Day 2 instead of Day 1. Anyway.

In the group B, we could found ourself and three teams from China. It would have been mousesports.. But I think everyone know what happend there :-/.. But but, we had teams like wNv,IM and tyloo.raw. The last team from the group (Tyloo.raw) is actually player from the former wNv team and we have played them serveral times and always played tight games against them. 

We started of playing IM and wNv with pretty high score and safe victories before we could actually play the Tyloo.raw team, this time we played them on de_inferno, we had about a 7 - 1 lead till they started to shoot back and made the game 8 - 7 to us before switching over to Terrorists. With a important gun-round win and the first gun-round to us, they somehow started to play very well. The game overall ended with a 16 - 13 score to us. I think this game could have ended earlier, if we could have get more rounds as CT.. Anyway. 

Day Three, This day would be started of little weird. We saw that actually tyloo.raw won against their "dotter" team (tyloo) with a pretty nice score on the second map, 16 - 0(!) But we had other things in our mind there, we have to beat Na`Vi to get to the finals of the tournament! The maps was choosen to be train,dust2 and inferno. First up Train!

We started of as Terriosts on this CT dominated map and we couldn't really get our game on here, we ended up being under 2 - 13 before switching sides. This half, we had some ideas how we could actaully attack them and hit them hard. But we didn't really succeed with the moves we had there and only could take 2 rounds of that half. Switching side! 

We started of with Rasmus getting four big frags in the inner site and we could get our momento starting, but we lost a early gun-round against them. But after that round, we started to hit them even harder and get their economy really bad. Harley and Puttje (f0rest) started to hit their shots with the big green ones and rest of the team hit their sprays against them. Unlucky for us, we couldn't get the last crucial round (14 - 15) and lost that map with 14 - 16 to them.. Switching over to dust2!

This half we started to be as CT and we won the important gun-round and the first gun-round, the overall half went to 9 - 6 for us. Switching sides, we lost the important gun-round. Most because, we had an idea that edward would be in the lower-tunnels and would probably be ready to go behind us if we rushed stairs. But he managed to kill Patrik (cArn) and me threw the smokes how were layin' in the middle when we rushed stairs and they won the pistol round pretty nicely. Anyway, the half went back and forth. Till it was standing 14 - 14, I was alone at the long with 100hp against starix who had something similer. The bomb was dropped at the catwalk against the big bombsite and I knew where he was and he knew where I was. So I just took it easy and waited for him around 15 seconds, till I had to reload. When I backed I hear'd him running forward at the long, so I got scaried and sat down and walked threw slowly and challenged him.. The first bullet he shooted was in my head(!) but he started to miss his shots and I started to spray and managed to win that crucial round and get me and my team to 15 - 14! 

The very last round, we managed to lose that round to their dgls and famases. 15 - 15, switching over to CT and start the mr5! We got a 3 - 2 and switched sides again. This time we started off good and got 1 - 0 directly from good play from Gux and f0rest if I'm not remembering wrong. Then they got a round 1 - 1, 4 - 3 overall. After that we started to walk slowly against catwalk and managed to get the flashes perfectly and I got two important frags when they were blinded and we won that round after some nice bullets from my teammates :-p Anyway, from good play from my team we got the last round of that mr5 and we won that map with 21 - 18 or something.

Then something funny happend, the expo was closing at 17.00 and we have played over 4 hours if I'm not wrong and we couldn't start the last map till next day, because the power, internet and they would start soon to kick everyone out there. So we had to take our things and play the last map tomorrow(!) I think everyone, started to laugh about it abit and

then got little dissapointed, why should we stop this game all of the sudden? Just beacuse of this?! Ok... Anyway, we have to continue the very next day and start 0830 instead of the normal playtime 10.00. Because they close down the expo at 16.00 this time instead of 17.00.

The very next day and last map - De_inferno

After a good sleep at our awesome hotel, we started the map on the terrorist side. We had an idea what they would do this gun-round but we managed to lose it.. But we bought early and started to get our momento going on, thanks to Rasmus and Puttje for hitin' their shots this half! ;-D 9 - 6 to us! 

Second half, this time we started off winning the important pistol round and win their early buy. We started up to get ourself to 13 - 6 I think it was, till they came back with galil's and AK's to get it to 13 - 10. Now, we have to started our game and get this last three rounds to win this game. First we took the two important rounds to 15 - 10, but we lost some stupid rounds and I think it was at the 28th round, we had three entry kills and markeloff came into the bigger site (A) and started to spray everyone down and won in the end a 1v2 against me and Patrik.. this time the score was 15 - 14 to us and at the very last round, Harley called on the bigger spot to go agro and surprise them. Puttje started off with two big frags, Rasmus died after getting their attention so f0rest could get some nice frags (;-p) then it came to a 3v1 for us and I ran down the banan to get the last frag and we won the last map with 16 - 14 wieee! ;D overall score - 2 - 1 (maps) to us! 

It felt great to win over them again, after playing a WIN-LOWER (bo1) tournament against them in Bilbao, it felt good to win over them in a bo3 instead of bo1. Overall of this game, I think it could go either way. But we were stronger this time and won the game after some tight situations from both of the teams. I think this is one of my hardest game I have ever played in a professional counter-strike and I think most of the people will remember it as a really intense game and it was over two days!

The game, was little more easier then we excepted. We started off with nuke and got a 11 - 4 first half and Rasmus played a huge role why we had this big lead. I think he won over three 1v2 this half at the lower site (Thank you Rasmus ;)) and at the terrorist side we just got the rounds that were needed with a gun-round win and some nice AK action from Harley and the rest of the team. 

On the second map, we started with losing the important gun-round and a eco against them. But we bought early and got 13 rounds in a row to get 13 - 2 as CT. Switching side, we started off losing the pistol round, the first gun-round and second gun-round. I think everyone in our team started to feel like back in GameGune against FX. We have like 15 - 4 against the Polish guys and managed to get it to overtime. But we started to play good and got the rounds we needed in the end, with 16 - 10 overall score. 

After the game, we felt joy in the end. Most because we have only won one time in China before and it was nice to finally break this little curse that fnatic had before. They have attended tournaments before and lost like 5-6 finals against different Chineses teams. So it was nice to finally break it, at least for Harley, Puttje and Patrik :-p.

Anyway, this was my little summary of the IEM; Shanghai tournament and I hope you guys liked it.. btw, I hope you guys will watch the game against Lions tonight, even if the game dosen't really mean anything. Because, we are allready in the playoffs and they are out :-p
