Well I went to Vita-Novas first COD4 event with a few friends and it was really great. We managed to come 1st at the event and take home £100 each which was pretty much spent on the night out and travel lodge so it pretty much covered me for a free party!

Thats the first time I have ever been to Glasgow for a night out and I really enjoyed it. Just want to say a big thankyou to the vita nova crew for organising a successful LAN and helping the COD4 scene.

I had woke up at 9pm the day before I left so I was unable to get any sleep before I had to make the 3 hour journey to Glasgow lol. I then immediately had games as we were too cheap to pay for the travel lodge for an extra night!

After getting to LAN at 9 we had to set up and start our games by about 11 and this continued til we finished and won the final at around 8pm. The organisation was great as they were fairly lenient and allowed us to go grab some food etc but we finished early enough that we could get some pre drinks and showered etc  before we went out.

I had brought a bottle of vodka and nathzn brought some jagermeister so we were well fueled up before heading out. We met everyone at whetherspoons and just stayed there for a while as the atmosphere was pretty good but we then tried to get into places with 16 of us and it wasnt happening so we went off with the players we knew quite well and had a really top night. We ended up in some student bar which played some quality tunes or atleast it seemed that way when I was wasted. It didnt help that I had no sleep over 2 days lol

Woke up in the morning and nathzn's car wouldnt start as his battery had died lmfao and we needed to jump start it as skeir needed a lift to the airport and nathan had work. I ended up taking skeir to the airport and then on my way home my car decided to overheat so addedjust over an hour 2 my journey.

I got back and slept for England hehe. I was so tired and still am tbh, I was pretty knackered at UNI today so I didnt go to my last lecture but I didnt miss much. We managed to get some cod4 games going and it was fun so should be playing over the next few days!
