Close to one week after Dreamhack I am still really dissapointed about my performance. I was in good shape, won all my games in the groupstage and had to face rapha in the quarterfinals.
Was a very close game where I even crushed him on two of the maps, but he got away with smallest marginals at the end.

My dreamhack preperations were really good, untill my monitor broke.
So right now I am happy to talk a little bit about Fnatics new sponsor Eizo, or about their new gaming model FS2331.

It was very easy to "install" the monitor. I had few problems with putting on the foot on my old samsung LCD. But with this Eizo model it took no time at all.
The monitor comes with a remote which makes it very easy to setup.

First thing I noticed when starting it was the colours. I didn´t even set it up yet, but already awesome picture quality from every angle. As a gamer I had to try my beloved QuakeLive fast.

Playing Quake with this Eizo model is really not as bad as it sounds when the specs says 7ms, and maximum 60Hz. Usually I am playing with 2ms, 120Hz at home. I played around a little with the monitor settings, and when using the "Gamer" mode the picture quality is really amazing ingame, and when using for example "cinema" mode it smoothens up the picture.

Another cool thing Eizo 2331 has is inbuilt speakers. Good if you don´t have any space for speakers on your desk.

Best price I found right now is about 220 euro.
If you want a multimedia/gaming monitor for cheap money this is one of the monitors you have to try!

I am still waiting for Quakecon to announce their tournaments. As some people knows, that's my favorite event/tournaments ;)

Wanted to upload few pictures, but having problems with it. So leaving the blog as it is and coming back closer to Quakecon
