I arrived safely in Beijing, China at around 7am local time today - headed to the customs check-out and then to make sure my suitcase made it safely from Canada - England - Finland - China alright.

After making sure my bag was the way I had packed it, I headed out to search for Xiao Lei - the owner of CCSK.cn an eSports media outlet in focused on Counter-Strike.  For the next three days LL (LeiLei) and I will be roommates sitting side-by-side conquering the Chinese eSports world...or something along those lines.

After arriving and getting settled in at his apartment, he is now watching a program that came out yesterday on CCTV 5.  The program is geared towards sports - and last night it had an hour long feature about eSports having some of the most famous teams in China in attendance - World Elite, EHOME and Tyloo.

From here I will be organizing the next two months projected eSports content to come from my end.  So far, it is looking like a bunch of Chinese professional LoL interviews, some Starcraft 2 interviews, the blog of course a column of sorts (haven't totally figured out what it will look like yet, but stay tuned!) and build up our Social Media in the West and China at the same time.

During this blog I had to take a 6 hour nap ( 6 hours of sleep since Sunday was not cutting it anymore).  When I woke up, I see that cArn now has over 15,000 followers on the Chinese version of Twitter - t.qq.com.  All I have to say is "I told you so Patrik"....

Just to put that in a little perspective for everyone, he started at roughly 1,700 this morning and then went to over 15,000 in less than a day - and it is steadily rising still.

Below are some photos from my trip to China (some shots from the airplane)I hope you enjoy - more to come in a few days <3
