I posted my last blog on December 13th, a lot of things have happened since then, during christmas/new year i went out a lot and didn't practice as much as usual, i took my own kind of vacation in those stressful times.

A photo from SEC in Poland i ran into on my camera : )

It was and still is kinda hard to live in the gomhouse.

There was projects of a potential partnership with TSL, and i got to visit their house and stay there for a few days and practice with them which was really cool, i learnt a lot there, if the deal was to fall through between fnatic and TSL me/rain would have lived in the house and practice with them and most likely play GSTL with them aswell.

Coach Lee was really nice to let me stay at their place for a few days even though both teams were still negotiating and nothing was decided yet.

I remember before going back to the Gomhouse i went out to eat some waffles with Rain, Heart and aLive, and aLive mentioned at some point that he wanted to join a foreign team, i brushed it off and told him that practice wise the best for him was probably to play in a Korean team's gaming house, at the time i had no idea how serious he was about this.

On christmas i went out with friends ( not from gaming community ) and had a pretty good time but didn't end up going to the one club i like the most ( Holic ) so i promised myself i would go there for new years.

I gathered a couple of people aLive, Rain, Shuffle, desRow, Cyto and we went to drink downstairs ( theres a pretty nice bar in our building basically ) after we had a couple of drinks we headed to the club a little bit stressed because in Korea everyone gains a year at midnight on every new year, and Rain was underage but was going to be old enough at midnight, however some clubs refuse "freshmen" according to him, so we made a plan B just in case and lined up outside the club.

We actually got there kinda late so we missed the countdown but i do think it's overrated so didn't mind that too much i was much more worried about being able to get in, we showed our ids, Rain was the first to give it and we got in like NP.

The music was insanely good, i love electro, everyone seemed pleased with it, we danced a lot and had a good time.

The clubbing glasses !

Partying time came to an end after new years and i started practicing a lot again.

The deal with TSL almost came through but at the last minute our management decided not to make it and things went wrong from there. TSL coach was extremely angry with fnatic ( even with me although i basically had no say in this whole affair as i'm just a player for fnatic ) I tried to talk to him, apparently he thought that the partnership was false from the start and we just used as an excuse to get close to aLive and recruit him ( either that or he was just really upset and just said random stuff )

What apparently happened is that aLive told Brian ( one of fnatic's translaters who worked a lot around Rain and goes with him to MLGs etc ) that he wanted to join a non-Korean team, they didnt discuss any figures and just as me Brian does not have any power in fnatic, so he just passed on the message but no formal proposition was made. TSL coach ended up reading the logs from aLive's skype ( don't ask me how ) and snapped out of it

I can understand what it may have looked like but there was some overreactions from the involved parts and the community in my opinion, ofcourse we would be interested in recruiting aLive but i dont think our team's management meant to "steal" him as it was said fnatic is one of those multigaming that has been around for the longest time and is really respected in the esports community, that's not how things are done here.

I know our management have been trying our best to resolve the issue, i tried to get involved and give advice on what was best to do, and apparently an agreement was found as in a substantial transfer fee will be paid to coach Lee to transfer aLive from TSL to fnatic so i guess we kind of have an happy ending there.

Seoul was pretty cold these days and it snowed too quite often.

I started missing France a bit these days so i craved western food a lot and been eating quite a lot of it including desserts !

We had been talking about going to the theme park that's in the city for quite some time now so i finally picked a day and we went for it, sadly it was suposed to be a lot of ppl but almost everyone canceled last minute and we ended up going just the 4 of us, Rain, aLive, Cyto and myself.

We first warmed up by doing the usual Viking

And then followed up with Gyro drop and Gyro swing before going to get some food

On the way to TGI Friday's we went to an electronic market store cause alive wanted to buy some earplugs i think ? and Cyto aswell, and i saw a Steelseries corner there and felt kinda proud lol

We had the usual ribs ( sup RdaM )

Went back in and did bumping cars, a few more rollercoasters, we HAD to have some coton candy before leaving, we did and left

Resumed the practice, I have been laddering a whole bunch i'm currently rank 175 GM and i streamed a lot too here's a vod from yesterday http://www.own3d.tv/FnaticTV#/watch/425723

I'd like to thank fnatic for giving me a sick laptop at Dreamhack, it's the reason i have been able to stream

And i would also like to add that it makes me sad people hate on coach Lee on forums, he devoted his life to the team he loves and puts so much work into it, he's a passionate man and a nice person, he never treated me wrong apart for geting really upset at me when things started going south but he then wished me luck on the next day.

I hope people can look past the mistakes that have been made and support both fnatic & TSL, and i wish the best of luck to TSL! As i mentioned earlier it has been difficult living in the gomhouse and i was even thinking about returning to France recently because of that, there are people from every country living here and there is basically "no rules" so everyone does their thing and you'd be surprised at some ppl's living habbits, it's pretty much everyone for himself.

It can be really difficult sometimes to deal with the noise or the snorring of ppl, i did ask countless times to move to another room because they woke me every night but they just wouldnt.  Luckily for me there is a light at the end of the tunnel and something is in the projects and i might be able to move somewhere else soon ~ crossing fingers! but for now i will just try to make most of the situation and keep on practicing, fnatic fighting !
