Hey guys,

It has been a couple of days since you heard from me and Harley and for that I apologize, but the fact is we have been extremely busy working with the MSI Malaysia promoting the new Gaming laptop, the GT660.
I´m currently sitting on a five hour long flight to Taiwan and besides me is one piece of tired teammate occupying the window seat reclaiming some lost night sleep after a good night out in Kuala Lumpur.

Personally I´m one of those restless souls who rarely catch sleep on flights.
I just like to sit and think about everything and nothing called life of Patrik. Going on interesting journeys is really what keeps me in the gaming industry, I love living a life on the road and I actually appreciate the most parts of the travels but being on route obviously has its cost not being able to spend time with girlfriends, family and friends.
It does indeed help living under the 21th century having the possiblity to catch up with the dear ones online, and hopefully the people close to me understands my decision in life. I think that when I´m in 40 years from now will look back to my younger years and thinking that the lifestyle was really interesting and it has given me so much back over the past years ever since I quit my job 2006 to pursuit the gaming dream.
In a not too distant future this roller-coaster ride im in will be over I´m sure tears will probably drop down my eyes cause I would really miss the travel and of course playing the intense matches.

Without getting too sentimental, there is more mountains to climb so lets move on and recap the past days we spent in Kuala Lumpur.
As you might have seen from me unboxing the latest Gaming network card from Bigfoot Networks, the Killer 2100, I got here one day earlier than dsn so the first promotion stuff, which was being interviewed by three Gaming magazine about being a progamer, was to be done by my own.
I didnt really know what to expect from their questions but the outcome was good since they seemed to know a fair bit about Fnatic which felt rewarding since it can be difficult promoting E-sport and Counter-strike to media which is not familiar to gaming.

The very next day MSI had a official launch of their latest Gaming Laptop GT660, so me and Harley was taken to a fancy hotel where there was a lot of media attending for whom we made a 2on2 aimmap against two malaysian gamers.
Fortunately we won the game, it would have been embarrasing coming all the way from Sweden losing infront of a huge crowd after being introduced as the World Champions of Counter-Strike just minutes before.
Later that day we went to a local internet cafe where we took part of the MSI GT660 aim map tournament and it seemed our luck continued because many of the matches we played there could have gone either way. I can honestly say, even how ridiculous it might sound, I get more nervous playing aim maps than playing in an IEM Final. Playing the two versus two format is not really my ball park but with the help of dsn we stepped up and did not only win the first days aim map tournament but also the next day´s tournament.
Worth to be mentioned on the aim map tournaments is that the Malaysian gamers were really nice people. They made us feel very welcomed to their beautiful country and I´m leaving KL knowing I made a couple of good friends during my short stay. If any of the gamers who attended the competitions is reading this I want to say huge thanks from me and Harley for taking good care of us.
Another highlight of the trip was the kind people from MSI Malaysia, they made a flawless job looking after us and we had a blast working with them throughout the week, 谢谢你们!

Yesterday night, and our final day, had of course to be spent on nightlife so me and Harley took of to a place called Mist accompanied buy an handful of Malaysians and also the old Mouseplayer Johnny R who apparantly was in town.
We had a really nice time there despite it was during the week and it was a perfect way to end a perfect week and also saying farewell to the nice people we met during our stay.  My memory from yesterday is slightly blurry so I´m not sure whether we managed to thank our friends properly, so if any of you guys read this: thanks!
Sadly we didnt have much time left to do sightseeing with one exception, going to the iconic Petronas Towers for some photos of this massive twin towers which reaches around 450m contributing to a impressive skyline.

We will land in Taiwan in a couple hours and I´m thrilled to go there since I´ve never been there before and from what I´ve heard it is a really nice city. It´s just something with those Asian capitals such as Beijing and Seoul I just love and I can´t wait to dispatch my Mandarin skills which I believe has increased a lot recently after studying it for 2 month in London.
The event we will take part of over there is the Computex exhibition in Taipei, where we will tag up with the american team EG to play showmatches in MSI´s booth.

In Taipei we will have more time to contribute to our lovely website and feel free to post a comment on what kind of stuff you want to see from us. It could be a video blog, snapping photos of cute girls or whatever you can think about, we will try to do our best!

Until next blog, big thanks for reading this and see you soon!
