Round 4: Save round from fnatic with a push up middle. anizz is ready and takes down f0rest as fnatic make their move. SOA are able to pick up the round easily 0:4

Round 5: a buy round for fnatic. a push up the banana hallway abig push is imminent from the swedes!!!
35 seconds to go and fnatic push. They get into the site and cArn plants the bomb. It ticks away as fnatic slowly soak up the retake. SOA still try to push but eventually fall back to keep weapons for the next round 1:4

Round 6: A slow push for fnatic with f0rest watching from tower and covering banana for flank attacks. fnatic are still undecided on where to go. cArn is extremely vocal as he cals the strats that indicate a push up middle. The A bombsite is the target but friis manages to take two. SoA were ready for that push onto the netted site and had it covered! 1:5

Round 7: fnatic have elected for a couple of deagles this round as they take damage in the appartments. Once again Friis is able to take down 3 from fnatic to leave just f0rest. He has just 59 hp and an m4 as he moves towards the bomb which is just outside the library. Our comes Friis to take out f0rest and ends a great round for SoA 1:6

Round 8: This round was a buy for fnatic that went very wrong. Arcadion pushed heavily on banana and instantly took out 3 in the middle.cArn was boosted onto the roof as he tries to find a kill or two to even things up. fnatic know they have to move fast as the time begins to tick down! Banana bombsite is being pushed again by fnatic and they manage to grab 1 frag but the site was well defended by SoA 1:7

Round 9: Again SoA are able to soak up the fnatic attack to win a very fast round. 1:8

Round 10: this round could be different as ins pushed and took the first kill but anizz had his defence set and dropped two from fnatic. Archi grabs one as they move into A but 2 from fnatic die. cArn plants the bomb at A and sprays to try and defend it. He holds his nerve for a great play and wins the round. Sam goes crazy!!! :D:D:D:D 3:8

Round 11: Fnatic need to continue from the last round and keep the pushes strong. dsn grabs the first of the round and opens things up towards the banana site. a huge push comes in, arcadion drops 2 but cArn got himself nicely into the site. The site is secure with the bomb down and cArn will again go HUUUUUUUUUUGE to win another round. GOGOGO cArN!!! 3:8

Round 12: f0rest watching the banana site is taken out fast with cArn landing a grenade to drop the defender arcadion. The team rotate away from banana and back over to the appartments. dsn sites watching the exit and takes one, as does cArn but the round falls to SoA.3:9

Round 13: a save from fnatic is easily soaked up by SoA. Fast round. 3:10

Round 14: Friis starts great with an awp kill on Archi. ins plants the bomb inside A though and is able to push the round further. Its all left to ins and dsn to hold the bomb. Both make great frags before ins is killed but the bomb explodes! 4:10

Round 15: Last round of the half and fnatic could do with the win. A fast carpeted push into A sees kills being exchanged and f0rest and cArn in the A site. Bomb is planted and f0rest finshed off the round 5:10

HALF TIME : 5:10

Round 16: CT pistol for fnatic. a MUST win round! ins is taken out early as the rest try to dig in deep. dsn takes down 2 before dying with cArn taking a third. a fast push into the B site, but the bomb was planted in A. BOOM :((
A big fake from SoA completely pulled in fnatic! 5:11

Round 17: Deagles for the 2nd round of CT side for fnatic. 1 deag from dsn starts things off. SoA finally dig their heels in and plant the netted site. f0rest manages to save his deagle 5:12

Round 18: a save for fnatic. Flashes into B as f0rest and Archi go down after getting a kill in the site. cArn set himself up for the exit kills, manages to get one but then died 5:13

Round 19: A MUST WIN BUY ROUND for fnatic. ins' famous famas starts the round perfectly. A very slow push is matched by an equally patient defence by fnatic. again famas man grabs a kill and its a push over to the banana site. f0rest grabs one on the entrance and dsn a second. bomb is defused!! 6:13

Round 20: dsn watches the middle with the awp.SoA are playing slow and smart once again with fnatic not biting the bait and holding patiently. ins takes one with teh famas, dsn a second with awp after losing two. Archi grabs a couple and its down the Archi who CLUTCHES it. 3 at the end for Archi, great play! 7:13

Round 21: Another patient defence gets underway for fnatic. f0rest spots the rush but its again Archi who ends the round with 3 frags for the win. 8:13

Round 22: Similar start as f0rest, Archi and dsn grab early and fast frags. Another great round for fnatic. 9:13

Round 23: ins is the man at the start with an AK headshot to start the round. The last 4 rush in and dsn cleans up! 10:13

Round 24: Flashes and smokes cloud the middle and f0rest keeps a watchful eye on it. The push through appartments is difficult to contain as the defence tries to rotate after the deaths of dsn, Archi and f0rest. Bomb is planted and ins and Archi make their move. Too late but a couple of frags came in before the end 10:14

Round 25: Money is still good for fnatic and we need to win this round! Arcadion starts it great for SoA but cArn replies with two quick frags. cArn and Archi remain and its cArn that is able to take the round! 11:14

Round 26: Another slow and calculated attack by SoA is imminent. fnatic are dug in deep on the sites and middle. The push comes onto the netted site and kills are passed around. dsn and ins try to defend the site with awp and m4. NINJA DEFUSE FORM dsn!!!! omg! 12:14

Round 27: fast push from SoA leaves it to cArn and ins on the netted site. Flashes from cArn in library but he is quickly dropped. ins tries to push in but decides to wait for the exits but is spotted, SoA hit game point. 12:15

Round 28: huuuuuge round right here, fnatic need the win. The setup is standard but its has worked nicely for fnatic so far. Famas kill on banana from ins is the starter for the round. flashes and smokes cover the B site as cArn and ins go down. Its upto Archi, f0rest and dsn to get back in. Pushing around the back f0rest gets one but they are taken out and fnatic win 12:16

Unfortunately fnatic are out of the Intel Extreme masters finals :(

Tommorow they will continue to play at CeBit in the Samsung European Championships against team Alternate.

Group Stage Round 3 vs Roccat!

We need to beat Roccat by a large margin and Mousesports need to beat SOA!

Roccat wins the knife round and chose CT side!

Round 1:roccat start nicely on the pistol but two quick replies come from fnatic. Roccat get a hold again and win the pistol on CT 0:1

Round 2: fnatic buy deagles for the 2nd round and hold back just outside T spawn. A great 1 deag headshot from f0rest brings fnatic out onto the A bombsite and cArn plants the bomb. They use the stolen M4s to defend the plant and cArn takes down the 3 remaining to win the round 1:1

Round 3 : Roccat are struggling for money and rush the middle but f0rest soaks up the attack with 3 deagle kills. fnatic then push up middle and take down the rest of Roccat to take the round 2:1

Round 4: Again cArn goes huge with 3 kills on middle and the bomb is planted in the B bombsite. The remaining 2 are then quickly dropped. 3:1

Round 5: A slower start knowing that roccat have guns but f0rest pushes right up into the B site and T spawn to take down 2. Bomb is planted at B and the remaining from Roccat go down. 4:1

Round 6: Roccat lose 2 very early with an aggressive push into middle. Fnatic sit in a comfortable position as they push up the middle street. A valiant effort from luurpis takes down 2 but fnatic finish the round 5:1

Round 7: A big banana push sees kills being exchanged and the remaining from fnatic pushing and planting in A. conTE comes in to take one but dsn fends the last one off to win another round 6:1

Round 8: A great push from fnatic into B and the bomb is planted by cArn. fnatic spread their defence but roccat have run away to try to save their weapons. The bomb explodes and fnatic win again 7:1

Note from Joe : THIS ROOM IS CRAZY! MOUSESPORTS ARE ALSO WINNING AND FNATIC WILL GO THROUGH IF THIS CONTINUES! 7:1 to mouz and fnatic!!!

Round 9: A split attack from fnatic goes slightly wrong as some kills from lurppis and ruuit win the round for Roccat 7:2

Round 10: f0rest takes first kill on banana but is taken out soon after. Archi gains the advantage for fnatic. Kill for kill as Archi and dsn are the last 2 remaining vs 1 from Roccat. They push through carpeted onto A bomb and dsn plants the bomb. conTE retreats and the bomb explodes PS - Mouz winning 8-2!!

Round 11: fast rush from Roccat goes wrong and fnatic have 23 left in B site. bomb is planted and leaves a 2v2. cArn and ins spread out with ins taking one and then dies, leaving 1v1. cArns AK headshot wins the round!!!!! 9:2

Round 12: fast push into A with Roccat on no money. Easy round for fnatic : 10:2

Round 13: Slow push up banana from fnatic. Good defence takes down fnatic on the entry. 10:3

Round 14: Slow push up broadway from fnatic. They are looking for the pick before they make the entrance to a site. It comes on middle and they move up with dsn onto library side. fnatic slowly make way onto the A site but NASU takes down two. Leaves it 1v1. cArn plants the bomb with 17hp, he moves back around middle to come in behind of roccat. He misses the spray and gets pistoled. The bomb is defused! Roccat wins a very close round : 10:4

Round 15: Last round of the half - Great start with f0rest in midde. NASU replies but f0rest gets the nades in. 2 more kills from roccat leave fnatic with just ins vs 3. He moves quickly through carpeted and takes out plaste and lurppis, one more is NASU but he doesnt manage the kill. Half ends 10:5

HALF TIME: 10:5 to fnatic - Mousesports winning 13-2 at halftime. Things are VERY tense here in the room!!!

The teams have taken a short break so I will do the same. Back in 5 minutes for the 2nd half!!!

Mousesports restarted and won the pitol so are up 14-2. We now need to do what we know we are capable of!!!


Round 16: Pistol round as fnatic go CT. roccat pushed into B but planted the bomb at A! TOTAL FAKE! fnatic push back around but the bomb had already exploded 10:6

Round 17: Deagle round for fnatic. Thwy stack 2 in middle and get the first frag. roccat push through appartments and quickly take out 3. Bomb is planted inside the A bombsite and the last from fnatic quickly go down. 10:7

Round 18: save from fnatic and roccat are able to close the round very quickly as you would expect. 10:8

Round 19: buy round from fnatic, a must win. cArn starts off the kills but dies quickly. dsns awp takes out one and fnatic try to push into the B site from the back site. It starts well but roccat find their defensive feet and are able to stop the retake. 10:9

Round 20: save once again from fnatic. f0rest peaks on balcony but once again roccat have superior guns and win the round. 10:10

Round 21: another must win buy round from fnatic. We set up in fairly standard inferno defensive positions and wait for the attacks. Archi takes out the first with f0rest and dsn adding to it. a Suicide from roccat loses them the round!!hehe 11:10

Round 22: again Archi starts off nicely with cArn and ins going huge to take the rest! 12:10
PS - MOUSESPORTS ARE DOING EXACTLY WHAT WE NEEDED AND BEATING SOA HEAVILY

Round 23: Smokes come into A and the kills are back and forth. It leaves us with just cArn. Bomb is down and cArn attacks it. lurppis was in the cheeky spot behind A box and takes out cArn 12:11

Round 24: A slightly different setup from fnatic this round as kiss are exchanged in different places. The plant goes down in the A site and fnatic try to push it. f0rest is the last remaining and decides to save his m4 for the next round! We are level once again! 12:12

Round 25: deagle round for fnatic but cArn doesnt mind! he takes down two to start off the round. /The bomb gets planted at the B site and f0rest tries to get in with his m4 but is taken out. 12:13

TIMEOUT CALLED! one from roccat crashed!

Round 26: GAME ON! another different CT setup fron fnatic starts well with an awp kill from dsn. ins follows in with his impeccable famas skillz! fnatic have the advantage and suspect a fake from roccat. The push comes to A! f0rest takes down one as 40 seconds remain. dsns awp gets the better of roccat and fnatic take the round 13:13

Round 27: ins again with the famas!!!! and a quick follow up on the rest of roccat. fnatic win again 14:13

Round 28: 4 for Archi!!!! fast round, great play!! 15:13

Round 29: f0rest holds great in B and takes down 3, ins and dsn with the rest. We win the game but need the last round!

Round 30: roccat start godd but f0rest takes 2 in carpeted. ins gets another and leaves it 2v2. ins takes the last 2 and fnatic win. We wait on the points from Mouz to see if we go through

MOUZ LOST A 1v1 at the end and ties up the points. WE WILL NOW PLAY SOA IN A PLAYOFF GAME!!!!!

Group Stage Round 2 vs MIBR

Round 1 : mibr take the round after a fnatic push into B bombsite 0:1

Round 2: A Deagle eco round by fnatic and a big push to B sees a bomb plant by fnatic but mibr take back the site and win the round 0:2

Round 3 : Another save by fnatic is an easy round for mibr 0:3

Round 4 : The first buy round for fnatic and a slow push into the A site. mibr overpowered the push and left ins to try for the plant, he was killed partway through. 0:4

Round 5: Another save from fnatic. Easily won by mibr 0:5

Round 6 : fnatic buy again. A 4-1 split with f0rest taking the pick on banana hallway. The team rotate back around to the banana site and rush in and plant the bomb. mibr dont attempt to diffuse and save for the next round 1:5

Round 7: f0rest again looks for the first picks on the banana side and fnatic double fake and head back to A. mibr cut them off at middle and leave just dsn. He gets taken out by the m4 of bit 1:6

Round 8: A middle push from fnatic with ins opening up the kills. He continues on to take down bit as the bomb is planted and fnatic spread out and defend the plant. The bomb explodes 2:6

Round 9: a 3/2 split as fnatic rotate all 5 back around to middle to push onto A. btts HE takes out dsn and fnatic rotate back to banana but mibr are ready for it 2:7

Round 10: tons awp starts things nicely for the brazilians as fnatic boost up into appartments. ins takes a kill at A and allows him into library where he grabs a kill before being taken down. The bomb is planted and only 1 remained for mibr. The bomb explodes but bit survives! 3:7

Round 11: ins starts the fragging in A but a quick comeback from BTT leaves it to fo0rest. He takes out the majority of mibr but ton manages to land the awp shot and win the round for mibr 3:8

Round 12: A save round for fnatic as the fast push the B site, mibr are ready and close the round fast 3:9

Round 13: Fnatic buy and push heavily into the carpet hallways and plant inside.dsn and ins are left 2v2 to defend the bomb but mibr prove very strong and are able to get back in and win the round with the diffuse. 3:10

Round 14: fnx takes the early frag onto Archi. Fnatic then push into the A site and lose a couple on the way. cArn plants the bomb and leaves it 2vs2. dsn takes them down and wins the round for fnatic!!!! 4:10

Round 15: final round as mibr push heavy to the banana hallways. Fnatic rotate over to the A site with 3 remaining. dsn opens ip the site with kills onto cky and fnx and Archi takes the last kill. Fnatic take the round! 5:10


HALF TIME!!

Round 16: a very slow push by mibr on the pistol.They push to middle and get in on the A site. cArn is left defending from the library but both him and Archi are taken out 5:11

Round 17: Deagle round for fnatic as mibr again move slowly. dsn opens with the kill towards carpeted hallways but mibr rotate to the B side. The brazilians then double back into A and Archi goes huge with 3 kills. Bomb gets planted with a 2-1 advantage for fnatic but the galil of fnx takes them down. 5:12

Round 18: Another deagle round for fnatic. Middle push from mibr as the take down 2. ins, dsn and Archi fall and mibr plant and explode the bomb. cArn and f0rest save the deagles thoug 5:13

Round 19: A semi buy from fnatic. cArn plays with great patience on the A site as the bomb is planted. ins and cArn have a hard job and are eventaually killed 5:14

Round 20: 3 famas and 2 deagles for fnatic as they struggle for money. mibr slow the game down again and send fnatic rotating to B. cArn takes a hattrick with the famas before being taken out but f0rest is able to finish with a deagle headshot. 6:14

Round 21: a gun round that fnatic really need to win. Another B push from mibr with deagles goes kill for kill. Archi gets in and takes out 2, but the last mibr players is able to win the round 6:15

Round 22: Game point for mibr. Fnatic cant afford much more than deagles. mibr take down f0rest at middle but Archi quickly replies with 3 kills before being taken down. Bomb gets planted in A and dsn and ins push in for the diffuse. mibr are able to finish the game. 6:16

FINAL SCORE: Fnatic 6:16 MIBR

The final rounds until 30 will be played now.

The next game should come up failry shortly. Hopefully i can find an adapter for my english plug before then! Power is starting to drain!
