Hey guys,

I hope that you are all enjoying life. In Gothenburg it's snowing, a couple of days ago you could feel the spring coming, but now it's snowing, weird. Anyway, I just wanted to write a short entry to bring up some things.

I mailed the WCG CS chief referee Thierry St-Jacques-Gagnon after he, in an open letter to the community, asked for opinions about silent running. They are thinking about hosting a committee for further discussion, which I think is great, because nobody wants a tournament to turn out like WCG last year ever again. Hopefully the committee can get the silent runners and naysayers to work together. They are thinking about a modification to limit, or remove, silent running. Even though I’m a bit skeptic, I won’t say no until I get to see what they managed to come up with.

We’re (the 1.6 team) heading out for Seoul next week and I think all of us are pretty pumped to get away from Sweden for a while. We will be there for two weeks and we will try to keep you updated with pictures, stories and whatnot, in form of blogs.
