Heya peepz!

So.. about the summerevents that didnt turn out so well for us resultwise was still a handfull of fun with Joe Miller and the rest of the guys & other teams etc. Especielly TosspoT singing the rob-wiz song an entire night dancing to YMCA together with Joe, brokn and some other guys in Belgium. Anyways, lets start from the beginning. :)

First off in our little eurotrip, Belgium. We all meet up in Stockholm at the Arlanda airport except for Odyx who went from Gothenburg at 06 CET in the morning, cuz of this he had to wait at the airport in Belgium for the rest of us for 12 hours or so. Poor poor Marcus.

We were pretty lucky as the hotell we were gonna stay in was like 1 minute away from the airport so we went to checkin and drop our bags in our rooms so we could go for food and to checkout the event itself. The event was held in the luxary Hilton Hotell on the topfloor in a big balroom and it was big as hell. I can only think of two bad things about the AEF event and thats the heat in the tournament area and that the big screen could be seen from people playing matches.

About the games at AEF, the first day started out good with wins like 13-3 (PGS), 13-2 (k1ck) and a walkover against rabbits. Then in the first wb match we got to play mYm on District, It looked really well for us we were up 6-1 on defence but then, after having a look on what went wrong, we started to skip our nades into the b-alley which made it clear for the mYm guys to run straight through to B and rush us down, they adapted to our tactics but we could not do the same when they raged us down. The game ended 7-13. Next game was against SK in the lowerbracket round 1 and we raged them on Crash without any problems at all, the results of the match was 13-7. Second lb game was against the LowLandLions on Strike. We have a little competition with LLL. We always play eachother on Strike or Backlot and We have won 5 times and they have won 2 (Including the loss at i34 on Strike.) The game was played kinda late at night so everyone was tired and the game was really tight but we brought it home, 13-11 was the score. Next game had to wait til the next morning, we were up against TEK-9 on Strike. We all decided to get up earlier then usual to get some proper warmup before the game. But instead we all overslept and had to rush to the event to even get a little warmup before we had to play. It did not help us as TEK-9 were just to strong for us at the time, they won with 7-13 and we had been eliminated out of the tournament. Our rank was 7/8th place.

Ofcourse we had a little afterparty in one.. or maybe 4 different pubs together with the Roskilde Ravens, mYm, team EG, Pandemic and some other teams the last night before we went to Denmark, it was an epic one, like I mentioned before TosspoT was singing about rob-wiz and people were doing thee YMCA dance and singing like crazy. Odyx was on happymode like always when we are out. :)

Next event was the experience in Denmark, Roskilde. And it was the one I had been looking forward to the most because it was the one I thought would be the most professional one. And it was, the time scheduale was held pretty good and the computers was good. What was bad was that if you were the last team to finish a match you had like 30 seconds on yourself to take your demo and get away from the computer. This made brokn from infused lose his demo against Dignitas when he raged them. (or whoever it was they played, my memory is a bit fussy about that part.)

We stayed at the Scandic Hotel in Denmark and the breakfast was epic, it had everything. Really nice. One more thing I liked was that Harry Potter was shown on one channel 24/7 so me, Odyx and Joe saw it 3 or 4 times because there was nothing else to watch. :D

Joe had his 21st birthday when we were in Denmark, It was a memorable one aswell, atleast from my part. Joe is an awesome guy and there is noone like him for sure. Lets not go into details about what happend that day, lets just leave it to Happy birthday again Joe, I hope you are happy with the birthday we got you. :)

Before the experience started we went to Copenhagen to bootcamp one day together with Roskilde Ravens, Dignitas, mYm, IMPACT and Team Pandemic. It went pretty good and was good for us, we really needed a day of practise.

Anyways, lets instead go into the details about the games we played at experience. Our group only had one hard game that had to be played and it was against TEK-9 that won over us at Strike the week before at AEF. The rest of the teams in our group was the following: Oslo Lions, Team Druidz, wegame and Team Fr33dom. Our first game was against wegame and it was a easy one, 13-3 on Backlot. The second game was the hard one, TEK-9! Crash was the map, we started out attacking and got 5-7 in halftime, defence went pretty well, we only let them take 3 rounds so we played solid on defence, we obviously got 8 rounds ourselves. 13-10 was the score. We won our group so that means that we got to UB Round 2 directly and it was a good and a bad thing. We had to wait from 11.30 in the morning to 22 at night to play our first UB game so we had nothing to do until then which made everyone kinda tired and sick of waiting. But this did not stop us. We won against infused with 13-9 and next game was against the americans Team Pandemic at Backlot. It started out good for us, and we were doing some really nice clutches. But in the end Pandemic started to read our game and just dodged our stopnades and rushed us down and ran away with 9-13 score, they kicked us down to the lowerbracket and our first match was against Reason Gaming on Crash. We have always had a problem playing Reason Gaming on Crash because they have really good nades and tactics on it. We started out as attackers and again, on crash, we got ourselves a 5-7 in halftime which is a decent attacking score. Just like against TEK-9 we played solid on the defending side and only lost 3 rounds to them, 13-10 was the endscore. Next up was the LB finals against the canadians EG. We played our worst map ever, crossfire, This is a map we've had a problem to get our game going on for quite some time now and well.. the game itself proves my point. It looked pretty decent in the start but then we just lost it.. the game results was 7-13. We got alittle better rank then at AEF. We ended up at 4th place.

Experience had a little surprise waiting for us after the prize ceremony. They told us to follow the music and so we did. We got down to a nice looking bar with free drinks. But the music was so lame and most of the people had already left for other places to have alittle afterparty in. So me, Joe, TosspoT and some other guys from different teams went nuts on the free drinks and after that we went out to look for the rest of the people to hang out. It was an epic night. NTT from EG tried to make me blind by poking me in the eyes three times in a row. But hey, I was still smiling. ;)

The day after LINQAN and Odyx went home one day earlier then the rest of us, mint was in his hotell room together with cookies (she's an awesome girl by the way! =D) allday and zem was.. well I dunno, having funnytimes in his room alone. ;) rawr. But, me Joe and TosspoT played pool for quite some time and Joe for the champion until the last game when I finally beat him! The rest of the night me and Joe had a lovley time on the hotell room watching 51 first dates and partyzone.

Me, Odyx and LINQAN went home for a couple of days before i34 but mint and zem went with Joe back to England and stayed in Southampton.

The days passed by and it was time to once again go to Arlanda to get to England. Joe and Anne picked us up at the airport and we went to stay in a hotel one day before the event started. It was really nice meeting Anne, we all had a nice dinner. After that Joe had to get to i34 as he was in the quadV crew so Anne drove him there. Me and the guys had a craving for some sweets so we went for a walk and see if anything was opened. It took a while but we finally found a store that was opened. The unlucky part was that they had no sweets that was actually good... :P Damn England! Thank god for Sweden, hehe. Anyways, we went to bed to get some sleep before the first day of the event.

We went up pretty early to get the event so would have plenty of time to set up the computers AMD sent us to use. Anyways, we walked around for like an hour to find the place we were gonna stay at. We knew it was a Hostel but we were not ready for what we were about to see... We got our roomkeys and went to drop off our bags and go back to the event to set up the computers. But when we opened the door we could smell mould in the entire room. It was like a small prisoncell, no windows, nothing, just a small room with alot of spiderwebs and spiders init. The first night we were gonna sleep we went to the toilet and it was vomit all over one toilet and the floor was filled aswell, a disgusting sight for sure.

After we've dropped our bags we went to the event to get our computers and find out where to set and sign up for the tournaments. The computers we got was good but it took like 30 minutes to install cod4 on them and we were only 3 people fixing them because mint and zem was coming like 15 minutes or so before the first game so we had some work to do! We finished the installation on 4 computers and worked on the fifth when they arrived. Unlucky the installations on zems computer failed somehow and got some random error message when he started the game so he had to reinstall it. With this happening we had to play our first game 3on5, we thought it would be a hard game but we won it 23-1 on Backlot. Then we had some similiar scores 24-0, 23-1, 23-1 and then we played 4kings on backlot. They played really defensively and we underestimated them badly and lost to them, 11-13 was the score. Next game was against Soul in the first wb match on backlot, we won it 13-5. Next game was against 4kings again, but this time it was on crash. It was a reaaaally tight game but this time we came out on the top after playing overtime, 16-14 was the score. They once again played really slow and tried to wait us out most of the times. Next game was against LowLandLions on crossfire which we lost 8-13. Next game against sample this was a hard game for us. We were still down from losing to LLL with such bad results and we had a hard time getting our focus back. End score was 14-16.

i34 was a decent event. Mostly bored inbetween the games and just walked around the exhibition hall. Ofcourse playing worms with soik and blackmane was always entertaining. Making love to Jay in his booth. Had a nice afterparty together with the teams again. ntt poked me in the eye again. :)

A big thanks to soik for driving me linqan and odyx to the busstation in coventry and getting us back and to the hotel we stayed in after promising ourselves never to stay in the hostel one more night. <3

Overall for this summer I had a really good time I just wish the results would have been better but thats nothing we can change now.

I almost forgot to mention that I meet klanne and he did the legendary foottrick.

I'm out, take care people. :)
