I just got back last night from Montreal! I got to accompany the CS and WoW teams as they competed in the ESL Global Challenge Montreal. CS guys won!!! congrats =) It was awesome watching them, as always. Also good luck to the WoW team, sucked you had to play on that new patch but just practice!

I brand this weekend as the "weekend of delays" haha. My parents and brother had work so they couldn't drop me off to the airport on Friday afternoon. My friend Rachel wasn't comfortable driving there so she dropped me to a train station that services to the airport.

When I got on the train, the conductor told me that the train doesn't stop directly at the airport so I had to transfer to another train when I got off. I had to wait for my transfer train for 20 minutes, I started getting worried about making it to my flight.

Once I got to the airport, I had to take the air tran. My flight was Continental Airlines, and according to the air tran grid, I had to go to terminal C. Well once I got to the continental airlines desk at Terminal C, they told me I had to go to terminal A -____-. So I got back on the air tran to get to terminal A.

When I got to my gate, my flight was delayed 30 minutes. 30 minutes later there was an announcement, apparently there was some oil leak from my plane, so what started as a 30 minute delay ended up being a 2 hour delay. WOOHOO!

After arriving in Montreal, I took a taxi....which turned out to be like a 45 minute drive because of all the traffic, half the time we were just sitting still in the traffic.

The hotel wouldn't let me check in because it was under Andrew (Rhaeygan) name. I had to wait in the lobby for around 2 hours until Andrew arrived to check in.

When Andrew arrived we dropped our luggage off in the hotel room and headed off to the event. IT WAS SO COLD, and he was wearing shorts and a tshirt (crazy kid). We got lost trying to find the event lol....spent like 45 minutes mindlessly walking around outside because it was so confusing. No signs for the event...:(

Alex finally came and rescued us and took us to the event haha. The event was in the middle of a car trade show so it was pretty noisy. I was greeted by a very happy and hyper Hafu, who gave me a big hug =P For the rest of the night we just chilled in the event area while they set up.

I love watching Fnatic CS play, so it was even better watching them win =P Watching WoW was so different this time compared to Dallas, felt like everything went by so fast.

The first night I went to dinner with Fnatic and Gravitas WoW at the hotel resteraunt. We ran into the CS team on our way out, they greeted us and offered drinks at the bar...so nice!

Having to play on a new patch a few days after it comes out is ridiculous, I can't imagine how frustrated the WoW team felt. Especially because the new patch nerfed their Comp >_< The rounds were already so short, but it seems like this new patch made it shorter. And that ret paladin seems pretty imbalanced, I don't know much about it though!

The CS team had some perfect revenge matches :P My favorite was against EG, "here have your 16-1 back" hehehe. I think it's safe to say "Fnatic's back" after this weekend, they seem like they're in great shape now. GOGO GUYS KICK ASS IN DUBAI !

Oh phew, the delays aren't over btw. My flight was around 7 pm on Sunday, as were the CS flights. Before heading to the venue that day, me and Rhaeygan dropped our luggage off in GG-E's hotel room. When Rhaeygan left, I asked him to drop my luggage off at the front desk because I wanted to stay to watch the CS team.

Silly Rhaeygan only dropped off my suitcase and forgot my Alienware backpack that had my laptop in it >_< in the hotel room. The hotel wouldn't me in the room because of security reasons. I had to wait over 30 minutes to work it out and finally get my backpack. The CS guys were kind enough to wait for me =)

I took a taxi to the airport with ins and dsn! It was nice talking to them, but I was scared I wasn't going to make it in time for my flight. I rushed through customs and security check, my boarding time was in 10 minutes ahhh! And then I get there and voila, once again, FLIGHT DELAYED GG. This time it was an hour delay. You'd think by now the delays would be over....shiet still more to go.

Once at the airport our baggage was delayed on the baggage claim ! Took 30 minutes to get my bag :( And then my brother was stuck in traffict so I had to wait 1 hr and 30 minutes until he picked me up.

Whew, I am exhausted. I think if I ever have to "wait" sometime soon, might pull my hair out. ;D Well anyway, I want to wish luck to my 5 special boys, Fnatic DotA! They will be traveling to China in a few days to compete in MGC...GOGOGO #1!!!!!!!!
