The first couple of days home in Sweden were awesome. After being a month or more on the road I really appreciated getting back to boardwalks covered with yellow and red leafs. It’s autumn here and it’s chilly and raining a lot, but right now I wouldn´t want anything else. The first two weeks on our “world tour” were spent in LA and we had a blast there. After LA, things got hectic with Montreal, London (one day), Dubai and China during a short time span. A lot of flights and changing time zones will wear you out for sure. I guess we can learn something from our showings during the month – teams are pretty damn close to each other in CS nowadays and being the only team out on the road for the entire “tour” nullified our edge, if we had any before (which I would like to believe). I guess we will keep that in mind when figuring out our tournament schedule next time.
We will try to work harder on our game from now on, because truth to be told, we used to play a lot less than the lion´s share of top teams. We could spend half the amount of time compared to the competition and still win tournaments, but those days are most likely over. In the end it will be a good thing for us as it both made us realize that we have to work harder and at the same time made us hungrier for victories.
I don´t really have anything more to say, we will be playing a lot online in the near future with a lot of ESL games coming up, so be sure to check that out if you are rooting for us.
Here´s a little movie I made with some pictures from our month spent on the road. I hope you enjoy it.
Have a nice day and good luck with your gaming,
Harley
