Hey everyone, welcome to my first fnatic blog!

As you might of noticed, this weekend was HME2008 (Het Media Event - Het = The) and there was a shootout with two fnatic players at the MSI Booth. So, I decided to check it out on Sunday!

My journey started of cold, it was snowing! I took the bus to the train station and went to Utrecht, which is about 30 minutes away from my place. When I arrived at the Jaarbeurs, where the event was held, I got my ticket and went inside to search the MSI Booth, and after a long search I finally got there, but where were LINQAN and darky?! Great, wrong MSI Booth..

Again, 20 minutes of searching paid off, I found it and it wasn't hard to spot it either! The MSI team were throwing all sorts of goodies in the audience and people were jumping and screaming for them. I decided to enter the fun, but didn't got my hands on anything.

After 10 minutes of the "goodies fun", I noticed a fnatic shirt, it was LINQAN! So I went to say hi to him and darky, who joined up with LINQAN to come and play Call of Duty 5 versus the public. Both of 'em were just chillin' at the moment, as the goodies were being given away and there wasn't any place for them at the stage. We went to play some Sonic (quite a boring game for those who care), and then the guys had to go back for the shootout.

It turns out that darky is quite a good Call of Duty 5 player, although he says he doesn't like it. I took some pictures of them while they were playing and meet an e-buddy of mine. At the end of the day, darky and LINQAN went home without any losses and simply owned everyone!

I had great fun with everyone I meet the day, everyone is awesome and as great as they are online. Cya next time and everyone else, stay tuned for more pictures!
