Just came back from Berlin after a hectic weekend of CS action. We ended second (ever heard that before when it comes to Fnatic CS?) after a very poor last map in the final versus the Finnish team Inari. We usually play good until the final if we get there in tournaments and then things just go horribly wrong. It always feels like we’re losing to the “upset” team of the tournament, that you usually around top10 with the occasional win every now and then. I’m not trying to take anything away from Inari here, they played good, I’m just trying to generalize how things usually end up for us. Anyway, the positive things about ending up second are that we learned a lot about our game and how we will improve in the future and that we actually did beat SK and NoA, getting 13 straight CT rounds on D2 versus SK after losing the gun round, which is pretty sweet.

I bought a Nintendo Wii in Berlin and we immediately plugged it in to the hotel room TV and started playing. We had loads of fun playing Wii Sports, but I got a bit too much hooked on the game and accidentally made a pretty heavy tennis smash into the ceiling of the room. My finger did hurt pretty badly actually, but the next day it was much better (it was my aiming finger!). Lucky me. Oh, by the way, Oscar (Archi) and I are probably best 2on2 team in the world in Wii tennis.

The next week or two will probably be sort of relaxing for us as ins is heading to Flordia with his family (bastard!). I’m going to treat myself with "the loser’s cure": a season of scrubs, a lot of candy and coke.
