Hi,

Ok that's my first blog so don't be too hard on me please ! So here it goes :
As I was in front of the television, watching an hockey game between the Canadiens de Montréal [flag why no quebec flag ? :( ] ( Habs for the win ! ) losing to the Toronto Maple Leafs [flag] and losing a place for the Stanley Cup series, I said to myself : why does an hockey game comes to take so much place in minds ? It’s just a game, that millions of peoples watch . But isn’t it great to see OUR team win over it’s rival in a tight game ? Seeing your team having to put 200% of energy and hard work to finally win in overtime against the best one ? I guess we want to see our team win, being proud of it and saying : Hey ! That’s my team ! My team is better than yours !
And as I was seeing my team losing against Toronto, I was saying to myself : Oh man, now they have lost , I don’t want to see the newspaper tomorrow. I know that they do their jobs but why are they always saying : " They lost only because this player have not played, this other one was not putting is heart into the game he’s supposed to play, oh and the coach ! Why the hell as he put on ice this man instead of this one ! " All I can say seeing this is : " Wow ! " ( I know it’s really short but I was reading a newspaper in a bus ) . Same thing I see on television when people talk about it. Do they have watched the game or not ? Maybe it’s not just because of the team efforts or the decision of the coach. Is it possible that it is because of the other team was putting more efforts ? Was in better shape ? It pisses me off seeing these things. Isn’t it like professional gaming ? Sometimes there is someone in better shape than another one and this first one, will win. And we should not forget the luck factor. If you do a second game with the same factor, maybe they will be a different winner.
I’ve never been to another hockey city, but it is said that here in Montréal it has the best ( loud too ) crowd. I always wanted to have some comments about other hockey city, if some people can give J.
Without the habs off the playoff, I can’t wait to see the Tampa Bay Lightnings to win the cup once again, as it is my second favorite team.
To finish ( not Finnish ) with, is there any hardcore fans of ice hockey here ?

Not the hardcore one, but I prefer New Jersey Devils from the NHL :>. About the rivality: I never understood and till now dont understand people be so addicted to sports [ultra-fans] -> I dont mean you right now, but forexample I dont have needs [if our team -> Sparta Prague beats. Pardubice :> ] to say WE ARE BETTER. I just enjoy the way they play, not the win. Another capitol are those crazy people who have needs to fight each other because of a "game, sports" now I mean hooligan style...For me those guys are assholes, that are hiding need, purpose to kick somebod's ass behind this Political/sport/etc. crap. I gess some people just have another mentality and the way you'r beeing formed by your parents when you are young. So that was the point of my opinion :> hope you will understand and sry for my english.

Yeah I fully understand that hooligan stuff, I mean beating each other because a team won over another team is crazy and stupid ( sorry if there is any here ) but I think there will be always extremists like this everywhere in everything, sad thing..
