The never ending battle of Hosts vs Spectators

Lately there has been a lot of bantering and complaints towards hosts. This bantering and complaining has mostly been geared around people wishing to spectate games.

These people who complain about 'bad hosts' because they kick spectators from games need to understand a few points that seem to be lost on them every time they end up being turfed from a game this wish to watch.

Reasons-

-Lag. The more people on the hosts connection, the more it is stressed and the less bandwidth the host can use for the people that actually NEED it, such as players and admins. Some players complain of lag, yet they wish people to spectate the games. Players and fans need to be aware of the fact that to have a successful (no lag/interruptions) match that the host as well as players benefit from having no spectators.

-Cheating. Some players like to vent. They like to have their teammates in to watch the match and tell them what is going on.

-Demos. This is only for certain games. Some teams wish to have closed practices with European/American players VS Asian players. To do this they need a neutral host. Some players/fans get word of this and wish to watch. The reason you are not allowed is because those demos are supposed to be 'closed'. Closed meaning, if a player is testing out a new strategy they do not wish it to be all over replay sites in a matter of minutes after being tested online with a fellow player.

Some people keep messaging hosts saying such things as; "I am coverage".

It happens a lot to be honest, and the fact of the matter is. We don't care. You have a job to do, then do it. You do not need to be in the game stressing the hosts connection to do that job.

This is the reason we have such things as;

NeoTV
GOMtv
Wtv
GG-TV
PPlive
ESL tv

Not to mention VODs. As well you can contact players and see what the results are. And if you wish to do a write-up of a match, then fantastic you do that. But watch the replay.
