WC3L XIV Initial Thoughts
WC3L XIV starts off with quite a shock as mousesports has dropped out of the league after placing second in XIII. They've been replaced by KoD Gaming. We all know MYM, SK, and WE are going to be the favorite this year, so I'll give a run down on the team I'm hoping can give them a decent run this season.

KoD Gaming:
Going to start off with the newcomers to the league, I don't expect them to do much, but I think it's worthwhile to take a look at their star players. KoD is primarily an American team, which considering the level of play Warcraft 3 is at in America, it doesn't look very encouraging. The team is full of mediocre players that I really don't see taking too many games. If their UD apm comes out in good form, I think he could turn into a very important player for this team and take quite a few matches, especially considering how well UDs have been doing against NE in 1.22. I'm also expecting their random player, Axslav to take a few games through match up advantages as well.

mTw.AMD:
I think a lot of people are expecting a lot out of this team this season and rightfully so. Check seems to be a little out of shape at the moment, but he's proven to be a very important player for the squad and I expect him to continue his streak of domination. Who has actually been in amazing shape as well lately and I've always been a big fan and hopefully everyone will start to realize how valuable of a player he is this year. Fov and Winners are also both great players that have a lot of experience under their belts as well. One player I'm particularly interested in is Resolver. mTw just picked him up after he showed some promising results in the ZOTAC Cup. I don't think he's going to be an all star player this year, but adding a human to the roster gives them a lot more room to work with line up wise. I don't see him taking too many starts this season, but he'll make an excellent backup and hopefully he'll make a big impact next season.

Fnatic + Gravitas:
These are two great teams that could really make a break for the finals, I really think it's going to come down to wether or not their 2v2 teams will start to develop as well as if they could add a little more depth to their rosters.

MYM+SK+WE:
These three are all great teams that have been very consistent, I think MYM did a good job picking up Soccer as he'll be a great player for the team. Infi and Sky seem to be a little out of shape at the moment, but with Like and Ted in amazing shape, I think they'll be just as competitive as ever.

Overall, I think despite the overall decline in the Wc3 scene, this is going to be a great year and I'm really hoping to see mTw surprise everyone like mouz did at the finals last season.
