I have never understood why people are so enthusiastic when it comes to soccer. The sport is boring. It's 22 men (or women), who's running after a ball with a spherical shape. They're almost stumbling over each other. I hate that sport.

I've been watching since i was a small kid until the day FC Bayern München lost the champions league final vs ManU - due to a biased referee, i went so mad that i crashed my TV. Well anyways this is going to be a tough match, havent been following Ajax' matches for more than 5 years now, so i dont know how good they are - but i really chear for FCB to burn them down.

Well I'm looking forward to Chelsea vs Barcelona. The is like a "pre final" match. Both clubs have preformed VERY well, could be a very nice match !!

People say that about American Football, rugby, Hockey, Golf, Formula 1 as well, if they don't like. It's a taste, a passion. Its the same with gaming. Some people can't understand why CS is fun, and some people love it so much that they play it 5-6 hours a day.

Thats how the supporters are unfortunately, but thats with mostly all the big teams. Ajax has the biggest history of Dutch teams and is one of the most successful teams in the world.

I love it how two dutch clubs managed to fluke it through to the last 8 again, PSV nor Ajax will qualify because they just cant cut it nowadays.

Germany are worlds behind England, Italy and Spain. I honestly dont think they would've qualifyed for the WC this year.

They still are. Ajax is together with Liverpool and Real Madrid, the only clubs who managed to win all the trophees that could possible be won. That isn't possible anymore, since one trophee doesn't excist anymore. The trophee for cup winners.

And still, not much teams can say that they won the Champions League 4 times and the national competition 29 times.

Ajax have been in decline since then, lets face it they cant attract big name players anymore because the dutch league is pathetic, world class players don't want to play in Holland.

Ajax have a history that's second to none and i wished my club had the honours Ajax have but where talking about now and if they the make the Quarter-finals, ill be surprised.

I agree that Ajax is not a world class team anymore. But I didn’t say that Ajax is one of the best teams in the world. I said that Ajax is one of the most successful teams. The trophies that a team won, make a team successful or not. If you win all of them, and a lot, than you can definitely be considered successful in my opinion.

I also agree on the fact that the Dutch competition is a bad competition, but the fact is that still a lot of great players are being produced in Holland. All the English teams need to buy them, coz they can’t create them themselves. And we create them, coz it has never been the style of Dutch football clubs to buy them. Romario, Ronaldo, Cruijff, Van Basten, Ibrahimovic, Mido, Bergkamp, Van Persie, Stam, Seedorf, Frank de Boer, Van Nistelrooy are just a few to mention.
80% of the first team of Ajax consists of players from their own youth. If you compare that to big clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, AC Milan, it’s a big difference. And a lot of great talents are coming through again, which is also clear in the Dutch national team, like Maduro, Sneijder, Kuytt, Kalou, Farfan, Alex.

I also think that the chance is small that we will win vs. Inter, but you never know how it goes:) I hope the best and we got Huntelaar now! We bought him for 9 million euro and he scored 4 times last Sunday. He can make some insane actions out of nothing and also Rosenberg is playing really well. Hes from Sweden and I think that he can be a lot better than Zlatan.

netherlands only has 1 team and thats feyenoord, we all know that :)

After feyenoord its quiet for a while and then we have ajax but, it will allways be #2 :) together with psv

The team that won the eurocup 1 as first in there country will allways be the boos ;]

My favorite color is somekind of red, babyblue or navyblue.

I saw the match between Real Madrid and Arsenal tonight, I was a nice match and altough they only managed to score 1 goal. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow Chelsea vs Barcelona clash of the titans !!

I used to be a complete soccer freak, but as CS came in my life it kind of passed away ;). I'm still watching EC, WC and the really great matches though.

ajax stays No1 :) they just have a bad year! :P i used to play soccer as well back then i also just played consoles but then there was cs when i was 9 so didnt have much time anymore so i stopped at a age of 12 to play games! :P and its much more fun! :P
