We just arrived in Brazil, after a terribly long flight. Took us more than 24 hours to go from LA to Rio, mostly came because we had to wait a solid 7 hours in the Newark airport in NY.
E3 was fun, but alot of waiting and walking. I had a good time there in general, playing my VSports Allstar matches (winning all three :), brought home a Intel P4 EE 3.46GHz, the fastest Intel processor on the market I believe. It was really good weather there, very sunny, although I didn't go the beach once, too tired for that every night. What I hate though about USA is the fact that you have to be 21 to drink alcohol. I did have a few drinks though, one guy at a restaurant said I was close to 21 (13 months away), although daler and lauke are closer to me but they didn't bother to show him ID. Also played poker there for real money on a real table (I had only played playmoney online before) and although I lost some money the first night I played I made it all back and more the second night. It's a fun game and I'll be definately playing it more often I hope.
Ah well, back to Brazil, it's fall here, the weather was extremely good according to LeXeR and cbnz the last few days. But not when we arrived. It has been raining all day long, although the temperature is okay for me, not for Brazilian standards though (20 degrees centigrade). We're going to the Sheraton hotel soon, hoping it is as beautiful as it is on the pictures, but I most likely can't tell tonight because of the rain and darkness.
Well, heading off to the hotel now, getting some deserved sleep after having spent to much time traveling and not sleeping, so tomorrow should be a better day!
