Today was a glorious day for Insignificant Gaming. The e-sports company I'm in charge of.

After winning the qualifier yesterday (with the final this noon versus "chocopotkarna") we were into the main showtournament of the e-masters. The e-masters are a show-event orgnised by outpost and gamezone in coorporation with the city of Antwerp.

In the head-tournament were three other European teams. Three international topteams: x6tence (Spain), conzto (Netherlands) and fnatic (Sweden). The winner of the tournament won 1500 € cash money.

We didn't really expect a lot from the games we played versus those "pro-teams" but just wanted to enjoy this moment, maybe a once-in-a-lifetime chance.

Ins-Gaming won it's first two wars (16-1, 16-8 and 16-9, 16-4), not too bad concidered the huge difference between our approach to training and theirs. The third and last war was not played, because there was no time and Ins-Gaming had nothing to win/loose. Therefore they decided to give conzto the forfeit win, so they could start the final versus fnatic on time.

It was a very nice experience. Been running between the top of CS, UT2004, WC3 and FIFA, between teams like fnatic, x6tence, SK-Gaming, dignitas, Serious Gaming, 4Kings ...
