My final day was average.. I woke up here in the hotel at around 10 and was ready by about 10:45. I knew the matches wouldn't begin on time so I knew I had some time and wouldn't be late. When I got to the event, after some sneeky sneeky, I saw that none of the players were even on stage yet. So I was right.

We finally got going at around 11:30-12 ish.. I don't remember. I saw Ztrider in the stands and one of my friends sitting behind him, so I sat behind Ztrider and next to Rocketboy. He's one cool dude.

So the match finally began and Toxic was just on FIRE. I mean, what an impressive match against Stremy. I remember laughing during phrantic while Stermy was in the red armor room and Toxic was spamming the crap out of it with nades and rockets and Stermy was just trapped there.. He would turn one way and be face to face with a nade, turn another way, and there's another on the ground... tries to run back and there's a rocket. It was so awesome to see how Toxic could just lock him in there. But his aggressively deffensive in an offensive style got it down.

It was aggressive because he never backed down and let stermy do his own thing, it was deffensive because it kept stermy from going anywhere, and offensive because he was also attacking him. It is a perfect combination that worked and ultimately won him both phrantic maps.

I gotta tell you, tox and stermy have crazy rails. It was great.

After that match was done and Toxic finally won over stermy, I saw Sam come over to Ztrider and said that Toxic didn't even have an expression when he won.. heh... I wasn't surprized. I haven't seen him make any other face whatsoever. But still, I'm proud of both tox and ztrider for getting this far. Stermy for passing his partner, Fatal1ty, and making a good transition from Painkiller to Quake 4, Ztrider too... I know some who haven't... sander, benno, ste.. Sad to see them go.

That was basically it. After all that it was just the booths having their little tournaments. Like the Dell booth that had a Quake 4 tourny. Garpy and Rocketboy were in there. It was cool to see them play.

Well, I'm here back in the hotel, talking to Sam on MSN and watching my two friends sleep. I am so bored. I can't believe they're sleeping. We're in Dallas and they're sleeping. What the heck is that. Anyway, I leave promptly at 11 am tomorrow and I immediately have to start studying for my exam the very next day.
