Elroy has been with us for over five years, and we're glad that he has now moved to the United Kingdom and is determined to work for Fnatic full-time, which means that our London HQ will be busy for the upcoming months.
Elroy has been in charge of our StarCraft II team, FnaticTV productions and other things as well. Here is what our new full-time employee had to say about this promotion:
It's a great honor to continue working in the organisation I have been a part of for more than 5 years. I have seen Fnatic from a very unique perspective over the course of time and I hope the trust that Anne and Sam have placed in me will be greatly rewarding for the organisation. Not many people get the chance to go full time in eSports and I am indeed glad to have this honor. In the coming months you will see more of me as I continue working with my StarCraft 2 boys as well as see more events rolling out in different games via Fnatic TV.
Our fantastic CEO, Sam Mathews, expressed the following:
Elroy has been with us since the very early days in fnatic. He joined us way back in April 2007 only 3 short years after the first orange and black jersey was worn. Originally he worked from his home town in Mumbai, India where he was heavily into Esports. Over the years he has worked in many different rolls within Fnatic from managing our WC3 team, to being a feature editor on our journalistic team to the present day where he plays an extremely integral part of the Fnatic Management team. It is so inspiring to see him grow enormously as manager and as a person that we are honoured to have work alongside us. His day to day roles include; director of our video efforts, Head of our RTS team (SC2) and partner liaison where he works closely with our partners and supporters to make sure they are getting the value they deserve.
Therefore today I am extremely proud and happy to finally announce Elroy as a full time General Manager of Fnatic, based from our London HQ. We expect great things from him to come, to help drive Fnatic with the rest of the organisation to even greater heights.
Let's hope that Elroy will indeed be able to bring even more great things and Fnatic will become as strong as ever in years to come. You will see a lot of new things that we have planned for FnaticTV in September, and we guarantee that they will blow you away. Go Elroy!
