Three FnaticRC players were brought to New York for the MLG Summer Arena - aLive, Oz, and Rain. Their trips to the Arena event were paid for, because MLG invited them out, with the opportunity to earn paid trips to the MLG Summer Championship if they finished well enough. While there, all three of them finished in the top 16 and thus earned the tickets to Raleigh and placement into the Group Play stage. Oz did particularly well, finishing third after a spectacular run that included the domination of foreign favorite Stephano.
