NASL Season 4

The North American Star League is entering its fourth season, and the competition is better than ever. 45 of the world's best players will fight through some incredibly tough divisions for a chance to win serious cash and garner public acclaim.

Of the 45 players, 4 qualified from the Season 3 Open Tournament, 4 players won a Season 4 Qualifying event, 5 new players were invited, and the remaining 32 are the players who finished well enough in Season 3. FnaticRaidCall has 2 players who maintained a spot after last season's performance - aLive and NightEnD.

In a recent update FnaticRaidCall will have a third player join the NASL. Oz will join division 2 in place of a player who unfortunately had to drop out of the tournament.

The players have been broken up into 5 divisions with 9 players each. Every division will be played in a Best of 3, round robin format. At the end of the regular season, the division winners will all be seeded directly into the Round of 16 in the Playoffs.

Division Preview:

6   aLive 2-6 8-12
  MorroW 1-7 4-15
Division 1 - Go aLive!

Because aLive has trained and played on the world's greatest stage with success, he will be prepared for the opponents ahead of him. This will not be an easy division, but aLive should make the Playoffs regardless. In particular, Polt might see this as a chance for revenge after being the victim of an upset and being knocked out of the Playoffs by aLive in Season 3.

Most dangerous opponents: DongRaeGu, HuK, Polt, Ret

9   ClouD  0-8 2-16
Division 2 - Go Oz!

Oz comes into this group as a replacement for Puzzle. In what will be his first NASL apperance, Oz looks to make his mark on a global stage. In a division filled mostly with Korean players, Oz has a very good chance at making the playoffs because he knows the ins and outs of his biggest challengers.

Most dangerous opponents:  NaNiwa, PuMa, Zenio

1   finale  7-1 15-5
2   DeMusliM 7-1 14-5
3   Sen 6-2 13-5

7   NightEnD 2-6 5-12
8   qxc  1-7 4-14
  Dimaga 1-7 3-14
Division 5 - Go NightEnD!

NightEnD's group is also rough, but it's not unreasonable to expect success given how close he was to making the Playoffs last time. His division has some very strong players that NightEnD will have to beat, but he's reached Grandmaster on the Korean server so it's not like NightEnD hasn't been beating people of this caliber already.

Most dangerous opponents: DIMAGA, MMA, Stephano

Our Players:

FnaticRaidCall has 3 players wearing the Orange and Black in the NASL Season 4-  aLiveNightEnD, and Oz

Last season, NightEnD did quite well going 4-4 in a tough division, but lost a heart wrenching three-way tiebreaker with SeleCT and ThorZaIN for a chance at the wildcard matches. The whole season, NightEnD's play was good enough to go toe-to-toe with the very best players, so we expect to see some great things from him in Season 4!

aLive was the best FnaticRC player last season, making the Playoffs and entering the Wildcard Matches as the #10 seed. Once there, he upset #7 seed Polt before losing a very close series to two-time NASL Champion: PuMa. With such strong performances last season, there's no reason to think aLive wouldn't be able to continue slaying nerds left and right.

Oz has come in at the start of the season as a replacement. Many people know Oz from his dominating performance in GSTL. In his first season in NASL, he aims to make his name known around the world. Working hard for his upcoming Code A apperance, Oz is in great shape and is ready to let NASL see what he has got!
