That's right, as you can see from the video, we are heading to Turkey with Riot for a special trip. Riot Games Turkey are making their first big step into the Turkish competitive scene at the Gamex Convention, Istanbul. Riot are hosting their first ever Turkish tournament at the event and have a special guest for all participants and visitors: FnaticRaidCall League of Legends will be in attendance. Not only will they be at the event, they will be challenging the winners of the tournament on stage. That's right, the tournament.
Riot Games are hosting a $40,000 tournament and currently have 250 teams entering the elimination stage. The final eight Turkish teams will head to the Gamex Convention for the offline finals. It's exciting times for Riot and Turkey and we, together, are making it extra special for everyone at the event. Not only will the winners be rewarded with $10,000, fantastic hardware and a unique champion bundle, they will also have the privilege of facing FnaticRC on stage.
The winner will battle it out with Fnatic on stage, for nothing more than pride. Fnatic will be watching the games closely, whilst greeting visitors to the event. The team are very excited about heading to Istanbul with Riot and you can expect some great content from us.
Fnatic's fifth player will be ex-member Max "MagicFingers" Dreysse who will be making a return for the trip.
