The Revenge Dota 2 Concludes

Update

With 2:0, No Tidehunter has taken the victory in the finals of the first edition of The Revenge RaidCall cup! The Chupakabras didn't find a response for this mix of NA and EU players, consisting of the likes of Black, Eternalenvy, s4 and others. Big thanks to all the 100 participating teams for making this event a huge success, and thanks to all the English casters, Blaze, Boberg and Doc, German caster LAN, Russian caster FoRcja and always on top of the task Spanish Antenadota! This has been a great event and be sure to check our website, as more of these are yet to come!

Vouchers to be won

As a special treat for tonight's viewers of the different streams, Fnatic will be handing out three vouchers of €15 (just under $20) to three lucky fans of Fnatic and the RaidCall Revenge Dota 2 cup. All you have to do is keep track of the tournament and pay attention at the right moment to get a voucher of €15 to the Fnatic shop.

Overview

Today is finals day in the sixth RaidCall Dota 2 cup, as just the semi-finals and the grand final are left. Four teams have made it past the first day, surviving the delays caused by the game's sudden desire to update. The two semi-finals planned from 17:00 CEST onwards will give us a strong ending of the continious battle between Europe versus North-America.

First up will be the lone European team left in this cup, The Tough Bananas, playing against No Tidehunter. Readers from this area might peg the mainly Danish team as the clear favourite, but let's remember that the American team managed to outplay the recently announced Team Kharkiv. To summarize, it should be a fine appetizer for today's menu of Dota 2 games. Best of all is the fact that in a Best-of-Three, we should see both teams test the other's limits.

The second game of tonight will be a 'local' competition between The ChUpAcAbRaS and KamiBersaudara to determine the final entry into the grand final and a shot at the $500 prize pot RaidCall was generous enough to put forth. Right now, we are left with nought but questions about the ending of this RaidCall tale: will it be an all American final? Will The Tough Bananas defend Europe's honour well? Will the underdog celebrate or should we prepare the feast for the favourite of the evening? In some five hours, we should know the ending of this two-day story.
