Today is the day FnaticRC actually begins its defence in North America with the pick up of Josh Tabak Dota. JT.Dota has been a solid scrim partner in the American scene for a fair amount of time now. The team would be under the leadership of Bryant '`whiteBeard' Lehwald and features Josh 'tabako' Tabak, who played Heroes of Newerth under the tag of SK-Gaming, in the past. After performing consistently well in the SECS series and the RaidCall Dota 2 Cup #5, they successfully managed to grab our attention.
We are certain that, under the banner of FnaticRaidCall, this diamond in the rough would ultimately shine the brightest.
Our General Manager and the Manager of StarCraft 2 division, who will be managing the new North American Dota 2 team, Elroy "Noname" Pinto stated the following:
"Today we welcome one of the most talented and up coming Dota 2 teams from the North American scene to our Academy on Fnatic. The idea behind creating a 2nd team was to give a chance to a set of new comers who can be moulded into the future of fnatic. After talking to several potential teams and players JT stood out for us by far not just in terms of skill but also in their outlook and attitude towards eSports and Fnatic. Unfortunately this also means that PowerNet who has been busy with university will be going inactive for the foreseeable future, we greatly value his time and input in fnatic but we had to move on. JT Dota for us is the way forward and the stability they represent in the Dota 2 scene can only bring great things in the future. A special thanks to our title sponsors RaidCall along with MSI, SteelSeries, EIZO & own3d.tv for their support to Fnatic"
Following are the statements from the players:
FnaticRC.SMURF-:
"I am greatly greatly greatly excited that we are going to be repping the Fnatic flag. Fnatic is a prestigious gaming organization and is respected by gamers all around for many reasons. With such an amazing award winning Manager by our side, and the entire Fnatic team behind us, i feel that me and my team will slowly but surely demolish any obstacle in our way to become the best Dota 2 squad in the world. Together as a team we have beat some pretty good opponents and when we lose we come back stronger then ever. We will try our best, and succeed, to make sure that we do not let down Fnatic." "Joining Fnatic is an absolute honor and I'm extremely grateful that they've given us the opportunity to play under their name. While playing for Fnatic I want to mature as a leader, a teammate, and a friend. We are still a very young team and I just want to contribute as much as I can into moving us forward. As a team, we want to attend many LAN events, one being, The International. That road is a very tedious one, but I believe that with Fnatics encouragement and belief in us our chances of succeeding are high. We will play harder, practice longer, and learn quicker with Fnatics help. I want to thank my friends, family, and Fnatic for supporting me and giving me this opportunity and I'll do my best to make you guys proud!" Follow @whiteBearddota

"I'm very excited to make a return to competitive gaming. Our team has been slowly improving over the past few months, and I anticipate getting better even faster under the Fnatic banner. My personal goal is to play in The International, and I think that goal will be more acheivable under the guidance of Fnatic." Follow @tabakodota

Over the past few months, Fnatic has impressed us with their dedication, organization, and support, and it is a pleasure to be finally working with them. Fnatic’s goals for the team line up with our own, and we hope to bring results not only in the NA scene but internationally. Shoutout to Pwnies, bdiz, Black^, and Cornell Dota." Follow @rolodota
