FnaticMSI Counter-Strike 1.6 GUI RELEASED

Features of the FnaticMSI Counter-Strike 1.6 GUI:

  • FnaticMSI's 1.6 team's configs:
    • cArn
    • dsn
    •  f0rest
    • GeT_RiGhT
    • threat
  • ESL approved settings designed for competative Counter-Strike
  • FnaticMSI in-game menu which lets you swap easily between the FnaticMSI player's configs
  • 32-bit colour depth lock
  • Map pack, including de_tuscan and the aim maps used by FnatcMSI  players during practice
  • Supports the most common Counter-Strike resolutions:
    • 640x480
    • 800x600
    • 1024x768

"The last few days have been very hectic here at the Fnatic office. After 8 months of hard work we are proud to launch our new Fnatic.com website and I hope all of you are liking it as much as I do. But the news doesnt end here, today I'm very thrilled to launch the FnaticMSI GUI 2010 edition. It has been years since we published our last GUI so it's really about time. I´ve been working on this GUI for the last few weeks and implemented some new features such as the FnaticMSI config swap tool that lets you switch between all the FnaticMSI 1.6 players quickly. The GUI does also comes with the correct settings for competitive Counter-Strike, all approved by one of the leading tournament organizers, The ESL. I want to use this moment to thank all the people that helped me out, Alba and Apekki with the design, r99t from ESL who guided me in the coding jungle and last but not least the people that helped me test it in order to made it ready to give  you, the user at Fnatic.com, the best experience.     but... isnt that right at using other GUi than normal in CS is illegal in ESL? :(

    At ESL tournament it probably is illegal to use other GUI than their own. However, online you just have to use the proper settings which this GUI includes

    To sad you didn't add the Counter-Strike 1.6 > CZ Model-fix. That is just a must for all.. Just add it now, and then everyone would be happy, I think.. since you allready added maps, tuscan models etc. Why not just add the CZ model fix to ? :)

    A good point and I had that in consideration. What stopped me is that those models are big and I want this file to be as small as possible. I will try get a link up for people to download the proper 1.6 models.

    For those of you who want to be able to switch to your own config. Rename your own config to whatever you like. Then open valve.rc with notepad and add line like this below the others:
    alias yami "exec yami.cfg"

    That line makes the command "yami" in the console load my own "yami.cfg" config file. If you are crafty you can also add a line in the commandmenu.txt so you can choose it from the command-menu.

    My problem is that I can't connect to the spelarenan.se servers. I get console message "password is "" ". Any help there?

    you dont need do this rofl , just edit the cfg you want change (f0rest , dns, carn thread or gtr) , click with right buton in this cfg and unselect the option , read only .. i hope that helps , for who understand following the image :) http://www.watchingthenet.com/wp-content/uploads/image/readonly1.gif

    I can agree that the Gui was awesome, but when i gonna join in the swedish playing site "Spelarenan" i can't join, The config comes up and it just says "password" is "".
    It never happends me before i downloaded the gui, can someone say if i have done something wrong?

    are they configs uptadet ? cuz its statin in f0rest's page.. that he plays large crosshair.. then in the cfg is SMALL dynamic 1....

    same on dns's on his profile says middle.. on his cfg small.. sames
    sames on threat on his page 1.7sensi, in cfg 3.5? wtf..can u explainme that..?
    Thnx.. btw. everything was good in the new GUI congratz and keep it up
