FnaticMSI.LoL win Go4LoL Monthly Finals!

After competing in every Monthly edition of Go4LoL, FnaticMSI.LoL have won the title by defeating SK Gaming 2-0 in an intense grand final. With the games lasting 70 and 60 minutes each, FnaticMSI did not have such an easy time. SK put up a tremendous fight but in the end, it was FnaticMSI who managed to come out on top in both games. Before going into the grand final, FnaticMSI had to take out aAa who have often stood in their way in the Go4LoL Monthly Cups, so the team went in hoping to change the usual outcome and were successful.

This victory has enhanced the spirits of the whole team, who have many more important games coming up, including the weekly Go4LoL, EPS, EMS and DreamHack Qualifiers. 

I discussed the victory with, Enrique 'xPeke' Cedeño Martinez, - FnaticMSI.LoL player:

Congratulations to you and the rest of the team for winning the 7th edition of the Go4LoL Monthly Tournament. It's a big win for you, how has it affected the team?

This feels awesome! A monthly go4lol facing aAa in semifinals and SK in finals is not easy, but winning it just feels epic. After this everyone in the team just wanted to keep playing together and keep rocking!

The final against SK-Gaming was a very intense set of 2 games, what do you feel was the turning point of each game?

The first game was 55%-45% in our favour I would say since we had half of their base down and we had all ours up, but anyone could win it and sadly for them and us they got a disconnect... we waited for a couple of minutes but after seeing he was not coming back they just told us to finish.
On the other hand, the second game was better, no disconnect for anyone and a totally fair win for us. We had the better late game combo and we managed to survive early and win!

This is your first Montly win after competing in every edition since its inception, what did you do differently to come out on top this time?

Even when we were in great shape there was always a problem in the monthly cups, someone couldnt do their best or we simply didnt play as usual(maybe because of nerves facing aAa who won most of the monthlys). But this time we were shinning at 100% with no mistakes and great play from everyone, that is what made us able to win every match.

What is next on the agenda for FnaticMSI.LoL?

Now we aim for this Go4LoL edition which was moved to tuesday cause of easter, also EMS and EPS which we will try to do our best, and impatiently waiting to see how the DreamHack tournament qualifiers will be!
