**UPDATE: FnaticMSI.LoL has just defeated aAa in the Grand Finals with a 2-1 score to take home the $50,000 first place prize. Over two hundred thousand viewers watched the Grand Finals live, as FnaticMSI had a stunning comeback after falling 0-1. Great job to the boys and congratulations!
Today FnaticMSI.LoL had one of their biggest challenges since attending DreamHack, facing their long time rival aAa in the Upper Bracket Final of the $100,000 League of Legends event by Riot Games.
The first game saw FnaticMSI.LoL getting their desired picks and showing pure admirable play, witnessed by over 100,000 people online. They managed to end the game early and without even dying. The score at the end was 15:0 until FnaticMSI.Shushei decided to rambo and give them a kill. So FnaticMSI went 1:0 up and got aAa worrying about how they were gonna beat them, a seemingly impossible feat.
In the second game things looked like they were going aAa's way in the beginning. During the break, they discussed what they needed to do and seemed to have found a weak spot in the FnaticMSI team. However, the boys began to overcome the aAa champions and started to win the fights. The second game was extremely close and nothing compared to the first. Kill advantage was swinging each way, it was hard to tell whether it was going to a third game or not.
FnaticMSI managed to win the more crucial fights however and then the rest of the game continued to go in their favour resulting in a 2:0 victory over the French aAa side. They will now be playing into the Grand Final but the opponent isn't decided yet. FnaticMSI will only need to win one map in order to win the amazing $50,000 first prize. The match will be played at midnight CET.
Congrats to FNATIC.LoL on winning the first season of League of Legends!.
Y desde aqui: Gracias por ese saludo a todos los Españoles xPeke!!! se agradece campeooon! mmuchisimas felicidadeees :D desde Cadiz!
What happened in this final game was: aAa managed to block shushei, he was outfarmed and ganked a lot, thus fnatic failed. They came back in the 2nd game which was a very close match for most of its part.
Even though you won, it was obvious that Shushei made this possible for you because when he couldn't make a move, the whole team was stuck.
It's not that I'm hating, I'm a big fnatic fan, but you haven't won this game easily and it could go both ways. You have to work on your team work.
Good job on winning the first season championships. Good luck in the future.
