What’s up everyone! Let’s get right to the questions! There were some questions you guys had that were the same or relatively close to what someone else asked, so just make sure to read through this all if your question did not get answered!

Annaky: What sports do you play?

Chig: I love all sports! But I play baseball and basketball. I was all-county in baseball my senior year in high school, and decided to go the gaming direction through college instead of playing college ball.

Itfytd: Are you a full time student apart from a professional career? If so, how do you manage it?

Chig: I am a full-time student at the University of Southern Indiana and studying Dietetics. It’s all about time management and scheduling classes to work for you. I don’t get classes on Fridays and early Mondays to make sure that I don’t miss class because of traveling. And during the week, I just make sure I finish everything that I need to get done before I start practicing.

rAk1N: What can we expect from you guys in 2012?

Chig: We’ll continue to be around the top and hopefully come out in 1^st! We’re going to be putting in hard work once stuff gets announced for the 2012 season to make sure we’re ready and back to where we left off.

Xrossfade: How did it feel from getting your worse placings in Halo and instantly jumping back to the top and getting 3^rd when no one on the team had even gotten Top 16 in Reach besides Prototype?

How did you guys form/prepare for the event and make such a leap?

Chig: Placing where I did at the beginning of this season was the worst feeling, but I didn’t let it affect me as a player, and I didn’t let any one that hated to get to me. The jump we made all came from confidence. We knew how good we were and how good we could be, we just had to have that confidence to push us there.

 Really, we just prepared for the event like every other event that we did (besides Nat’s because we had a LAN). But we just played online a lot and went to the tournament and scrimmed for a little bit before the tournament.

Praw: What player that you have teamed with in the past, fit your play style the best and why?

You have teamed with individuals that have went on to do very well in both H3 and HR, you have also been on teams that included players that have fallen off the map so to speak. If you could go back and change your mind or the decision of someone else about a certain team, who/what team would that have been and why?

Chig: If you didn’t say in the past, I would definitely say my teammates right now because they fit the best, but in the past, I would have to say Soldier did. We teamed for a pretty long time and got to know how we each played together and we had some good teamwork together.

               This one is an easy one for me, haha. My career all went downhill for a while when I made a terrible decision during the last season of Halo 3. I made a decision that I regret pretty much every day lol. I left my team that consisted of Clutch, aPG, Tizoxic, and myself (We were SICK too) for Str8 Rippin because of a Dr. Pepper sponsorship. Definitely the worst decision I ever made. I was thinking, it’s the same team that placed 2^nd but with Tsquared, how can you go wrong with that?! But no, we weren’t really clicking and ended up not placing well at all. So that is definitely my choice for what I would change my mind about.

Casedude: Who do you personally feel is the best overall player in Halo: Reach as of right now?

Chig: Roy. No need to elaborate here lol.

Tycoon2o9: Does “Chiggin” only work at events?

Chig: Chiggin originated online, so nope you can do it online. But doing it at events is awesome when the crowd gets into it!

               “Chiggin”- Not missing with sniper over and over and over again. ;) –Mackeo and Victory.

iRobinHoood: In an honest opinion, do you enjoy Halo: Reach? Is it fun to play compared to previous Halo titles?

Chig: I have enjoyed it actually and even more now. The fun factor probably isn’t all the way there tho compared to previous titles mainly because of no ranking system.

anegativeprobability: In your opinion, what do each of the members of Fnatic bring to the team? What are the special strengths that each member has that might not be obvious to those watching?

Chig: Str8 Sick- Communication and slaying. Russo- Randomness, unpredictability, and good objective play. Prototype- Sniping, slaying, and listening.

-Mr_Z-: What was the first game you ever played?

Chig: hmmm I can’t really remember, but it might have been Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball for the regular Nintendo.

zDreameRz: What did you buy with your tourney winnings so far?

   How did you get the name Chig?

               What is your all-time favorite moment during your time at MLG?

Chig: I’ve put a lot of it back to pay off my school loans after I graduate. But the little bit I didn’t put away, I’ve just bought clothes, food, stuff for my girl, etc.. Not really anything huge.

               A chigger is a bug and Chigger used to be my nickname. I just shortened it to just Chig tho. I got the nickname from all-star baseball practice when I was littler, because I never ever played outfield and I got put in the outfield to catch fly balls, and I just sat down and someone’s dad yelled “Kyle you better get up before you get chiggers!” and it just stuck..

               Hysteria’s XBOX freeze lawl. It was crazy to be on the other side of that whole situation. Even though it was dumb, it created an amazing an intense 50-48 game 5 win.

XboxgAmeR1759: What was your favorite season of Halo 3- 2008, 2009, or 2010?

Who has been your favorite teammate so far throughout your Halo career?

Chig: Definitely the 2009 season because it was the first season I placed top 6 consistently and finished it off in 2^nd.

               Other than my team currently, I’d say Ghostayame for sure. He was like a best friend to me and a great teammate.

-Jorge: Which pro do you like beating the best?

Chig: Snipedown. Always played against and with him at local tournaments since Halo 2, and I’ve beaten him a couple times at tournaments, but he’s had my number the rest of the times I’ve played him.

ABearInTheWoods: How do you feel about the prize purses at events being lowered for Reach in 2012?

               Give us your thoughts on team Out Played You.

Chig: Nothing has been announced about it being lowered, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it did. I honestly don’t think it will. I think if 2011 was a good year for Halo, then in 2012 it would have increased, but I just see it staying the same now.

               Out Played You has a good concept going. We’ll see how well they can do.

Connorcrow93: Are you worried at all for the future of Halo?

Chig: Not really worried. I think with no bloom and no sprint that Halo will be back long enough until Halo 4 comes out next Christmas.

CarbonFan: What kind of maps are needed for NBNS (No Bloom/No Sprint) gametypes? Do you feel the current maps work with NBNS?

               If you could team with anyone, besides your current teammates, who would you pick?

Chig: Yeah I think the current maps work really well with NBNS. Other than maybe Countdown, maybe Beaver Creek can get added in tho.

               The gods and the GOAT, Roy, Lunchbox, and Ogre2 for sure.

Swordey: Are the SteelSeries Siberia v2’s your favorite pair of headphones?

Chig: Yeah I absolutely love them. They are the best headphones I’ve ever used for gaming so far. The FNATIC Edition 7H are coming to me soon, so we’ll have to see how they stack up to the Siberia v2.

Fu_Geri: How do you balance competitive gaming/being a pro, and a relationship so your girl doesn’t want to kill you?

Chig: She probably just doesn’t kill me because I always buy her things with my winnings lol. But nah, she doesn’t really care that I game and travel, she actually likes it because she gets to fly with me to some events!

Shxrtyy: How did you become pro? What’s an easy way or a step to becoming pro?

Chig: Just game a lot and be patient! Release gameplays and clips and try to get your name out there, that’s how I did. Ace saw a sick clip I had and picked me up and we got 9^th place. Always play with people that are better than you so you can learn and get better yourself.

Extermist: What would you like to see in H4? What does it need to be competitive?

Chig: I just want the BR back lol. It needs good, competitive maps, the BR, and no armor abilities and I think it will be good lol.

iDecisive: Why are you still competing? What makes you keep going even when you are at your “lowest” placings-wise or feeling-wise?

 Is there still a specific goal you want to achieve before you even think of retiring?

Chig: I’m a competitive person in every single thing that I do. If I’m not the best, I will keep on going until I am the best. That’s what keeps me going.

               Yeah for sure: Winning a National Championship. I think that’s everyone’s goal, and even when I do achieve that goal, I don’t think I’ll retire. Whenever I get a job after college and start a life in the real world, that’s when I think I’ll be done. But we’ll see!

Slauny: If Halo is not on the pro circuit for next season, would you still pursue competitive Halo, or would you move on to another title being supported? If not those two, would you just quit all together and move on to the next thing in life or just stick it out until next year?

Chig: I think I would still play Halo, mainly because I have a ton of faith in Halo 4 and if Halo: Reach isn’t on the circuit, then hopefully Halo 4 will be next season. But for 2011 if Halo isn’t on the circuit, no I probably wouldn’t play another game, and just focus on school even harder.

Dordo3: Do you enjoy Halo 3 or Halo: Reach from a competitive standpoint?

Chig: Halo 3. I think Reach will be up there this season because of NBNS, but Halo 3 was amazing.

Baykem: What is your favorite Halo?

Chig: Halo 2 I think just because of everything you could do in the game. All the glitches, ranking system, clan matches, etc.. too much fun.

Res05: Your favorite tournament?

Chig: Might have to say this year at Anaheim, proving every single person in the community wrong about myself and Str8 Sick and placing 3^rd.

WorKK: How are the workouts going? Any real progress?

               Do you think Fnatic has a chance to become a Top 4 team next season?

Chig: They are going good! Been going about 4-5 days a week this Christmas break because I’ve been pretty busy, but since I’ve started lifting last March, I’ve gained about 20-25 pounds!

               Yeah we definitely have a chance. We placed top 4 last season twice, no reason we can’t continue to place well and get better. It’s up to us though and how much we all want it.

JBee: Why did you stick with the same team for most of the year?

Chig: I love my team and my teammates! We have amazing chemistry and are all really good friends outside of the game. We placed well and continued to place well too, so no reason to even think about splitting up!

Meylaha32: About how many hours do you practice a day/week?

Chig: During Christmas break I’ve been gaming maybe 4-5 hours for 5 days a week. But during the semester, I play when my team is on, so like 2-3 hours 6 days out of the week.

aShinyCharizard: If you could pick any other eSports game that you would be able to play professionally, which one would it be and why?

               Who or which team do you like playing the most at an event?

Chig: Counterstrike. I’m a FPS player and would love to be on FNATIC’s CS1.6 team.

               I love playing Status Quo! My team played them every single event that we were a team this year, lost to them every time except the last, when it mattered the most. Every series against them was super close and really intense, it was just fun to play.

IISpadesII: Do you know that other intelligent life exists? aka E.T.’s.

Chig: lol, I do believe that there is something else out there considering how big outer space is.

Brooney: Do you believe there is only competitive and casual gaming, nothing in between?

Chig: Never really thought about this one. I don’t think there is anything between. You’re either gaming to have some fun with friends (casual), or you’re playing to win and be competitive.

Musicfiend0890: What would you think about making a restriction of players on a team, would that help or ruin teamwork for teams?

               Based on the recent decline of popularity in Halo: Reach, will you be increasing your involvement?

Chig: If Halo is on the circuit for 2012, I believe this is what MLG is going to do. I think it just depends on the teams, but it should definitely help teams since they know they will have to stick together or get penalized. I know it will help our team for sure.

               I plan to and already have kind of started to! I wish I could stream, that would help out a lot, but I can’t because my school internet connection isn’t good enough to.

DnBxTyl0o: What do you think about European gamers/teams at America and their play style?

Chig: I think it’s great for themselves and for MLG. It helps them get their names out there more and it helps MLG’s exposure overseas. I’ve had the opportunity to play against a lot of the Europeans and the Australians that have come over to MLG, and they are good. I lost to them once with my bad Str8 Rippin team, but all the other times I’ve beaten them pretty handedly. But they have the potential for sure.

C0ACHMAYNE: Lowkin. Great teammate or greatest teammate?

Chig: haha, I miss Kip for sure. He was an awesome teammate to be around and hang out with, as well as a really good teammate inside of the game. I wish I could have teamed with him for more than one event.
