The Busy Brit #2

Hi everyone, if you aren't aware of my presence here at fnatic.com, I am the League of Legends Manager, team and web content. My last blog was....a long time ago so I will not start off from there!
In the last six months my life has gone from pretty busy to overly hectic and intense. This is mainly down to the five guys from League of Legends you all love so much, (me to). The motivation I get for working night and day is from my co-workers, the fans, my friends and of course, the players. During all this work I do get a chance to travel and see people I have longed to meet or already have. I went to stay in Sweden for a month with an old DotA friend and his family, was great to live in another country for a bit and just get away, much love to all the Dickensons
What I miss the most about Sweden...
I also took a trip to Germany to see a friend and got shown the shop Saturn, all I can say it, you would be very welcome in England! I loved it in Hamburg, a huge community spirit was there which isn't here at home. The Christmas market was nice and being able to buy some unusual gifts was nice.
So much has happened recently for me, not just within Fnatic but also at home. Of course we had the departure of Max from the LoL team, the cheeky German is sorely missed. Our time in Taiwan together, the memories will never be forgotten. Since then we have had New York where the boys didn't drop a map, was great to be right behind them for the whole thing and I cannot wait to see them do the same at CeBIT :). I won't get too into CeBIT here, I want to keep it light but what I will say is, people who are doubting FnaticRC's chances are in for a surprise.
When it comes to home life in UK, to be honest I am looking forward to moving somewhere new! Firstly the internet sucks, for a nerd baller like myself, I need more than 8MB/s. Secondly, there's too much countryside here, some people dig it, but I don't, not one bit, I want to live in a busy place, any takers?! Of course I have my friends, who are even getting into LoL themselves now, they're gonna watch CeBIT to.

There is so much going on for me everyday and I don't want to bore you with the tales, all I will say is, things are changing so much and it's all in a positive way. I cannot wait to see where I am in two years because I am pretty certain it's going to be somewhere great, fingers crossed! CeBIT is in 6 days and I am already preparing for the guys, making sure everything is set, and of course that they're practicing, which they are.
Here is a summary of what I have been doing in the last 6 months:
- Visiting friends
- Giving up smoking
- Getting more organized
- Looking unsuccessfuly for a lovely lady
- Working my hardest to represent Fnatic as best I can
- Making changes to my personal life, successfully
Feel free to ask me any questions, you can find all my contact info on my profile page.
Thanks for reading and I must do some shoutouts: Fnatic, Swag, Coco, Shinkz, Dread, Henry, JackD, Erika, Aston, Yana and of course my friends at home, much love to you all <3
