I just returned back to Sweden after my three month long stay in Taipei, a return trip that most likely will go down as the toughest ever with multiple stops in Beijing and Frankfurt - two of the most boring airports in the world in my book - and a total traveling time of 36 hours door-to-door. Anyway, I feel really refreshed being back on Swedish soil with chilled summer breezes, mum´s food and great company from my dear freinds. The only downside so far is that Sweden is more than horrible in the Euro cup 2012, an event I have been expecting for so long.
In just a few days I´m taking my car down to Jonkoping and Dreamhack Summer, and I was about to say that this is the first DH I´m attending as a non player, but as Karrigan can not make it in time for the group-stage of the Swedish Championship, the guys asked me to fill in, something that I happily accepted despite the fact that I have barely had time to touch CS since my official retirement 3 months ago.
Besides hopefully doing my job along with my guys in CS1.6, Dreamhack will be great fun this time around with so many Fnatic members on spot. The guys from HoN/Dota2, SC2, LoL and of course CS1.6 are of course attending and it will be a blast following and supporting these guys and I´m pretty confident to say we will grab medals in Jonkoping, the past Dreamhacks has been ridiculous successful for Fnatic, and I have no reason to not believe we will follow this trend. I´m also very excited to meet up with the Fnatic staff that has gathered to cover this busy event, I´m sure me, Danijel, Alexander and Harry will enjoy Dreamhack a lot, and we will do our best to give you - the reader of Fnatic.com - great insights what is actually going on behind the scenes of Dreamhack, as well as great coverage in terms of interviews, live blogs and galleries.
Before signing out for the night, let´s create some quotes for the community: I hereby challenge myself, and our squads that if Fnatic is NOT grabbing at least two medals at Dreamhack Summer, I will spend the final night of Dreamhack outdoors, in my very old tent that is semi-broken. Don´t let me down here guys, Sweden is damn cold these days, especially night time.
See you guys at Dreamhack, and if you are there, don´t hesitate to come and socialize with me and the 20+ Fnatics that will be attending this year, we are all very friendly and we love to speak about gaming.
Welcome to my profile, for any question please write on my board or a message and I will try answer as soon as possible.
