Andreas "MODDII" Fridh: "It was our first time playing together as a team since I/we joined up with Fnatic so having a win in this tournament feels incredibly good because we basically haven't started to practice yet and we have like no real "tactics" besides a "standard" tactic on 3 maps (train - mirage - dust2). When i saw that we were suppose to play against LDLC i was a little bit surprised just because it was such a strong cup with big names in it, but they were really good and I feel really happy that we could win against them after being down 6-9 on CT train."
00:03 CET - After losing 6-9 on the first half of de_train, it seemed all but possible for Fnatic to get back into this game. Well, here's the impossible: not only did they climb back, they have also almost taken 10 rounds in a row to win this match and the whole tournament as well. 16-11 is the final score. Fnatic win their first tournament, $600 and a spot in the play-offs. What a brilliant start for our line-up!
23:30 CET - First map went in our favor, as Fnatic finished off LDLC with 16-11 at de_mirage. It was LDLC's turn on the 2nd map to take the map point and seal the win at de_inferno with 16-10. Third map is under way right now.
21:30 CET - The other Semifinal went to LDLC who now face our team. The first map is de_mirage.
20:00 CET - In the first game with the new lineup we can note a win, but it was anything but easy. Dominating the first half of the map, once again our Team struggled to gain the final points during the second half. Yet stingeR and Moddii as well as the rest of the team achieved the two missing round wins and find themselves in the Grand Final of the EMS Cup #3 which will be played tonight in a Bo3.
19:00 CET - The Fnatic CSGO boys will be starting their game against k1ck now on de_dust_2.

Overview
The EMS Cup series is a tournament hosted by both ESL and RaidCall. Both parties will work together to bring weekly online cups involving the top teams from around Europe and the rest of the world. This gives amateur teams the chance to prove themselves against the top players in the game and the top teams to compete for prizes and points.
Format
The format is simple, however many teams sign up will be put into a single elimination bracket in either 32 man, 64 man and so on brackets. The tournament winner will face a number of rounds to achieve the first place finish that they hope for.
