It is with great pleasure that we announce the official line-up for the Fnatic League of Legends Beta team. Back in December we announced that Martin "Rekkles" Larsson has joined the Fnatic Academy and will be forming a team to play with. Now a few months down the line, Rekkles, along with Fnatic has formed the line-up and we're ready to present it to you.
The Beta team boasts some talent that has been slightly under the radar in the European scene. Now that they have the stability and experience of Fnatic backing them, we feel they now have the perfect chance to prove themselves. The team will be captained by none other than Martin "Rekkles" Larsson, a player you should already know. Martin was playing with the pro-team in late 2012 and was part of the historical run at DreamHack, IPL, THOR and IEM: Cologne. Since then the rules of LCS have stopped him from playing and we have made the best out of a tricky situation.
The team will make their first appearance in the Orange & Black at Copenhagen Games 2013. They will be participating in the BYOC tournament that is happening in Denmark. They will then continue practice and decide what event they'll attend next. The 2013 calendar is looking good for non-LCS teams, they will have their fair share of tournaments to attend.

We are thrilled to announce addition of another League of Legends team to our organization under the leadership of Martin "Rekkles" Larsson, AD carry player who is playing for us for a few months already. Due to LCS age restrictions he couldn't continue with Peke, Cyanide, s0AZ and nRated but we didn't want to let go off such a talent and a person with such great work ethics and instead the new team around him is formed. We also want to further improve our impact in such a great game and community of League of Legends and continue to satisfy our LoL fans. Thanks to them and our sponsors MSI, SteelSeries, Eizo and Twitch for making this happen and one big warm welcome to Pavel, Jani, Kristian and Martin to our organization.

After being told I cannot play LCS, I wasn't too sure as to what I wanted to do. Fnatic offered me the chance to form a second team under the orange and black and after some thinking I decided this was the best choice for me. I'm happy to stay with Fnatic, stay in touch with my former team-mates, and now play with my new team-mates.
The players I chose, took a while but I am happy with the line-up we now have for the Beta team. There is plenty of tournaments for non-LCS teams coming up so we're looking forward to hopefully winning some events.
I will still be streaming a lot so make sure you tune in, tack!
Hey Fnatic fans, I am really happy to play under the banner of Fnatic with such a skilled players, but most importantly nice guys like Rekkles, Kazmitch, Janitin and Sairus. I cant wait to play on as many offline events as possible and to bring home some trophies. A Big thanks to Fnatic for giving me this opportunity and I hope for a bright future within Fnatic Beta team.
I'm super excited to play with such great players with the backing of Fnatic. I'm looking forward to go to as many LAN's as possible. I really think we have the potential to be one of the best teams in Europe.
I am excited to join Fnatic family, i am playing LoL a while and now i have the opportunity to play with one of the best players Rekkles, Mozilla, SairusQ and Janitin and travel around Europe while playing my favourite game. I hope we will perform well and succeed on many tournaments in future. Lets do it!
I'm pretty excited to be joining Fnatic. I'm mainly looking forward to travelling to some events with the team and hopefully getting some good results. I've played LoL competitively both as a lineup player and as a substitute (Mostly in ER/TCM) since preseason. There was however, quite a long break when I last played competitively, that being over a year ago from the present day. Now I am ready to kick some ass.
