It is with great joy that we are announcing the addition of our new CS:GO team! For all of you who didn't know, we parted ways with our old squad a month ago, our old squad consisted of Friis, Xyp9x, Karrigan, and trace. As promised to all of you, our loyal fans, who made our stay in eSports this long possible, we decided to continue supporting CS:GO, and we now have a surprise for you!
We have bolstered our ranks now with an all-Swedish lineup, a squad which had previously been part of team Epsilon. The team made it's mark in European scene by winning the Fnatic FragOut league not so long ago, and it also includes ex-Fnatic member Andreas "MODDII" Fridh, a player who doesn't need any introduction.
Fnatic's CGO Patrik 'cArn' Sättermon shared his thoughts as well as the reasons behind adding this team under the Fnatic banner, while Jonathan 'Devilwalk' Lundberg had few words of his own:

It is with excitement that we announce our return to Counter-Strike:Global Offensive by signing the Swedish team SY&b. This group of players has impressed us a lot recently with great performances at Dreamhack Summer and in the Swedish Championship.
After having several prospective teams on our radar for the past month, we eventually came to the conclusion that the talent and passion in the players in SY&b will match our expectations and values perfectly.
I am personally thrilled at the thought of working with a Swedish team again, and I will do my best to support the development of this team, and this includes taking a more active role in coaching the team at on-site events, starting at Dreamhack Romania in September.
Without further ado I would like to welcome Devilwalk, jw, Flusha and Schneider to the Fnatic family, and also I’d like to wish Moddii a warm welcome back - third time’s a charm!
Finally, many thanks to our sponsors and fans that are supporting us and taking part in the new era of Fnatic Counter-Strike.

We are proud to announce that we are now part of one of the greatest eSports organizations ever - Fnatic. With this comes great responsibility to maintain the great reputation of Fnatic and it's history within the CS scene, which we plan to uphold.
I feel a childhood dream is coming true, watching all the great teams in the past in the Fnatic organisation, and now being apart of it and it’s history going forward is something that's impossible to measure in how much it means to me.
I would like to send some special shoutouts to our fans who have been instrumental throughout our success, thank you.
As our CGO mentioned, the first scheduled appearance of these talented guys in the black & orange will be at DreamHack Bucharest, an event which will be held in Romania in about a month and a half. We would like to wish the team a warm welcome to the Fnatic family, and we hope that with our support they will use all of their potential and become one of the strongest teams in the scene. The newest Fnatic CS:GO lineup now looks like this:
- Patrik 'cArn' Sättermon - Manager (Sweden)
Jonatan 'Devilwalk' Lundberg (Sweden)
- Robin 'flusha' Rönnquist (Sweden)
- Jesper 'jw' Wecksell (Sweden)
- Andreas 'MODDII' Fridh (Sweden)
- Andreas 'schneider' Lindberg (Sweden)
Once again, we send a huge THANK YOU to all of you fans who have supported us during the rough times as well as great ones, and we hope that we will continue to grow together, and become stronger Fnatic than we ever were before. Let's see what the future brings for us!
