GSL Code S Group G Ro32

_____________________________________________________________________

GSL Season 3 Code S is one of the most awaited Korean tournaments and now, Group G featuring our player Haksu "Oz" Kim is ready to kick off. The 32 participating players were divided into eight groups of four players each. Based on the player´s position in the tier list they were assigned to their groups. Each group contains four players from each of the tiers.  Oz has been granted a position in tier one with a total of 1185 points in 2012. With the tier one position Oz has got the best possible start to the tournament, but by no mean it will be an easy journey for the young Korean.

Taking the tier two spot in the group is DongRaeGu, a player who is famous for his recent gold medals at both the first MLG Spring Arena and MLG Spring Championship in Anaheim. The third tier is represented by the 14-year-old Maru, who has been successful in past GSL seasons. Filling the group is viOlet, who gained access to the Code S due to his international sucess. viOlet is fresh off from a victory at 2012 MLG Spring Arena 2, where he took home $10.000.

GROUP G
#1   DRG 2:0
#2   viOlet 2:1
#3   Maru 1:2
#4   Oz 0:2
GSL Code S Ro32

Group G is probably one of the hardest groups in the GSL Seasion 3 Code S tournament, and it will start off with a match between Oz and viOlet, an epic Protoss versus Zerg. The second match will be between DongRaeGu and Maru. Oz will need two wins in order to qualify for the top sixteen and continue moving on. This will be no easy task as his group is featuring two of the best Korean Zergs and a Terran prodigy, so you can definitely expect the top Korean StarCraft 2 action from these great players. The Group G starts tomorrow, on 20th June at 11:10 CET (18:10 KST), and we will provide you with the coverage of the event, so be sure to follow all the action right here at Fnatic.com.

    most likely the hardest group

Oz has beastly PvZ though imo, he has good record against viOlet.

And he beat Maru last season, so if Oz plays his best he will advance.

    GL !
