RaidCall Dota 2 Cup #3 - SGC wins!
Updates Day 3
01:30am : SGC are the winners of the 3rd edition of RaidCall Dota 2 Cup in 2012. The 3rd day started with the encounter between Infs and TTB. The Danish team provided a solid play and took down the Swedes with 2:0 in two dynamic and close games. Balsam, the player who recently made his comeback on the TTB team, showed amazing skills with Antimage. Although he brought down Infs, he didn't do the same with SGC. craNich and crew, who are in the scene for years now, have shown their great tactics with Morphling, Chen and Panda being core heroes. In the second game of the finals, craNich has decided to go for a surprising Balanar pick. Balanar proved to be too much to handle for TTB, as they haven't had enough damage to bring him down. Tulex spiced things up with his briliant Morphling as well. We wan't to congratulate SGC on winning the PLAY RaidCall Dota 2 Cup #3, as well as their captain craNich who was voted to be MVP of the tournament. We will host more of these tournaments in future and we hope all of you Dota 2 fans will sign up and make them even bigger and more exciting!
20:50pm : The first game between TTB and Infs is soon to go LIVE! The finals will be played right after, where SGC is awaiting their final opponent! Get ready for amazing Dota2 night covered by Luminous!
Updates Day 2
01:00am : SGC are the first finalists of the RaidCall Dota2 Cup #3 after beating GC with 2:0. The first game was pretty much over at around the 20 minute mark, as SGC have heavily outplayed the Macedonian powerhouse. The 2nd game was pretty tense and dynamic though, and GC were leading for the most of the match. Impressive play by Puck and Leshrac wasn't enough to secure them a tie though, as SGC have pulled amazing comeback with Morphling leading his crew to victory. You can expect the second semi-final to start tomorrow around 18:30 CET between TTB and Infused. As both teams are bootcamping for DreamHack currently, the time is not fixed. Stay tuned for more updates.
23:30pm : The first game will go live soon, between SGC and GC. The first semi-finals is just minutes away! You can find a stream link right above.
The first semi-finals match between SGC and GC is postponed and will start right after the TPL match between Na`Vi and CLG, approximately around 23:00 tonight. Luminous will cover these games, so be sure to check them out.

During the last two competitions, we have witnessed some epic games and turnovers. In the first PLAY RaidCall Cup, CLG was on top in the end, by beating mousesports with 2:0 in finals. The second tournament went slightly differently though, as in the semi-finals we had a total of three American teams.
Korok was leading ex-GoSu (later on signed by Quantic) straight to the finals, and threw teams such as Virtus.Pro and CLG out of the tournament. Even though they had put up a great effort and displayed an exceptional performance, they weren't ready for what awaited in finals. coL, who previously won with 2:0 in semi-finals against the mighty EG, were more then prepared for Korok and his crew. With 2:0 win in finals, coL have earned themselves the prize of $500 as well as the SLAPPA Fnatic Backpack, which went to TC as the MVP of the tournament.
Again, up to 64 teams will participate in the winner-takes-all tournament. The amount of $500 is up for grabs as well as the SLAPPA Fnatic M.A.S.K. Backpack as a prize for the one and only MVP of the tournament.

The tournament will start on the 9th of June at 19:00 CET. The first four rounds will be played in a best-of-one format. The semi-finals will be played on the next day, on June 10th at 19:00 CET in a best-of-three format one after another. The third day will feature the grand finals, also in form of a best-of-three match.
If you think you and your team have what it takes to beat the forementioned teams, sign up for our tournament via the Fnatic PLAY site. The last time some of the teams didn't realize what we would like to state here as an important information and reminder: There need to be at least 5 players on the team.
