CSN HoNor: FnaticRC wins the grand final

16/07/2012: The Black and Orange players faced tT eSports, who were joining us the finals, coming from the lower brackets in which they defeated TiGG. With a convincing score of 2:0 over tT eSports the boys secured themselves the prize of 2500$. For all the people who want to check out the games, the match IDs are 95298089 and 95304274.

Our guys are through to the Grand Finals where they will wait for one of the three remaining teams - tT eSports, BGDC and TiGG. After 2:0 win over BGDC, they progressed and became first grand finalists, while BGDC will have to play against tT eSports or TiGG for their spot in the finals. More updates will be announced soon, as well as the match time and date.

22:10pm : With a 2:0 score, FnaticRaidCall is through to the semi-finals of the Winner's Bracket. Our next opponents will be tT eSports, formerly known as fray, who won over TiGG with a 2:0 score.
20:45pm : We are currently one game ahead, the score is 1:0 for FnaticRaidCall. One more win and we are through to the semi-finals of Winner's Bracket.

Overview

Battling their way through the open bracket and later on the group-stage, FnaticRaidCall have reached the final eight of the CSN $5000 Cooler Master HoNor Cup.

With the prize pool of $5000, this tournament is surely one of the biggest ones in the HoN scene. It started out with 64 teams competing for their place in the group-stage, as only the 16 remaining teams filled in the four groups. Top two teams out of each group progressed further, and with the final eight teams remaining, the tournament has reached it's most exciting stage. FnaticRaidCall have progressed as first in their group.

The final stage consists out of Winner's and Loser's bracket, and the match format is best of three. Our guys are currently playing their first match in the Winner's bracket against tdM, and the first game is under way right now, you can see it on the link above.
