01:10am : Unfortunately, ToD didn't qualify further to Group Stage #3. As the groups are decided in the following order : score, map+/-, internal match, ToD is placed as 3rd as he lost against Mini with 1:2, who has the same amount of points as ToD - +1. Therefore he finished competing on DHS 2012.
00:10am : ToD has won the match against Seiplo with 2:1, and therefore progressed to top 32, Group Stage #3 as second from Group G.
00:03am : Score is 1:1 now and we are heading for the final game. This game will be  decisive for ToD, he needs a win in order to stay in the tournament.
23:57pm : ToD is currently one game ahead of Seiplo. One more win and ToD is through to Group stage #3.
23:41pm : 2:1 vs Turuk put ToD back in life. His last opponent in Group G will be Seiplo, and this Protoss vs Protoss mirror will decide whether ToD will progress further or not.
23:30pm : ToD lost his first match in Group G against Mini with the 1:2 score. Meanwhile, Seiplo defeated Turuk also with 2:1.
22:00pm : Group G is the new place for ToD to compete, along with Seiplo, Mini and Turuk. You can expect matches to go live soon, so please stay tuned for more live updates.
20:50pm : ToD has won all of his matches in Group 25 and therefore progressed to second group-stage as first. The second group stage is scheduled for today, so stay tuned for more live updates.
20:00pm : ToD is currently on top of Group 25 with 2:0 win over Svettis, Terran player from Sweden. The second match is yet to be announced, whether it will be against devz or Maddelisk. The two of the remaining ToD's opponents are currently playing their second game of Bo3 match, and devz is leading 1:0.
17:30pm : DreamHack Summer 2012 has begun with Group Play, but there are a lot of groups and ToD's is Group 25. He is finally playing his first match!

Round 1 - Group 25 at DreamHack Summer

DETAILS

The DreamHack series of events are considered some of the largest and best run tournaments in Europe. DreamHack Summer 2012 is the second of four tournament events that DreamHack will run this year, with an enormous Winter Championship at the end. In addition to the prize money and fame, players at DreamHack Summer 2012 will be fighting for points that can qualify them for the Winter event and a chance at even more money.

There's a prize pool of about $30,000 at stake and half of that goes to whoever takes the first place. The DreamHack Summer 2012 format features three levels of Group Stages, with 2 players advancing from the group each time. After the third Group Stage, playoffs will be Best-of-Three until the Grand Finals, which will be Best-of-Five. First and second place will receive direct seeding into the Winter Championships, and everyone else who makes the top 16 will receive points towards qualifying for the Winter event.
