24th June 19:10: NightEnD has finished second in the 2012 StarCraft 2 World Championship Series: Combined European Nationals, and therefore earned himself a paid trip to the 2012 Battle.net European Championship hosted by Blizzard. NightEnD lost to LoWeLy with 0:2 in the grand finals, and therefore earned $1000. We want to congratulate NightEnD on achieving this great result, and we are hoping for many more to come! 18:05: With brilliant Blink Stalker play, NightEnD took the second game and advanced to the finals! Because NightEnD is coming from the Losers Bracket, he will have to defeat LoWeLy in two consecutive Best-of-3 matches to win the tournament, but he's already earned himself a paid trip to the Battle.net European Championships! 17:50: NightEnD took the first game in the Losers Bracket finals against biGs. 17:20: NightEnD played impressively against Giantt, beating him with a score of 2:0. Now he's going up for revenge against biGs in the Losers Bracket finals. If he wins, NightEnD qualifies for the Battle.net European Championship and he'll fight LoWeLy in the Grand Finals. 16:15: NightEnD will play against Giantt, after beating monchi with 2:1. Giantt on the other hand won against sYz with 2:0. The winner of this match will play against biGs who lost with 0:2 against LoWeLy in Winner's Bracket finals. Only one of these three - NightEnD, Giantt and biGs, will win a paid trip to Battle.net European Championship. NightEnD will play against Giantt very soon.
23rd June 18:00: Unfortunately, NightEnD lost game three against biGs in a really tight series between two top European players. That drops him down to the Losers Bracket, where NightEnD will play against the winner of ScReaM and monchi. He still has a chance to win, so stay tuned! 17:46: NightEnD played exceptionally well the second game, with better micro and army composition. The series is tied 1-1. 17:30: NightEnD lost a tight game one against biGs. 17:00: NightEnD is currently in the Winner's Bracket semi-finals, where he will play against biGs. So far, NightEnD has won both matches with 2:0, against ScReaM and Giantt.

The tournament will be played in double elimination bracket, from which all matches will be played as Best-of-three. In the Grand Finals though, the winner of loser's bracket will have to win two Best-of-three series. Surely, two of NightEnD's toughest potential opponents are LoWeLy and biGs. LoWeLy has shown some impressive results in the NASL Season 3, and biGs is another top tier European Zerg.
Everything you want to know will be right here when the tournament starts. You will be able to follow NightEnD's progress, as we will bring you live updates regarding the event. We wish NightEnD the best of luck in the tournament, and hope that he has fully overcome his illness and that it won't affect his play.
