NightEnD invited to HomeStory Cup V
We are pleased to announce that FnaticRaidCall.NightEnD is one of the first players selected to compete in the upcoming HomeStory Cup V! Lazar 'NightEnD' Silviu, our Romanian Protoss star, has been a top European player for quite some time and has been getting attention recently. His recent move to Korea for some training in the Fnatic Gaming House alongside his teammates has paid off.
NightEnD News
Before moving to Korea, NightEnD took gold in the Hear To Win Cup 4 and although NightEnD has been sick and could not make it to DreamHack Summer, he was able to fight off the illness and on 24th June he took second in the Combined European Nationals. This result earned him $1,000 and a paid trip to compete in the Battle.net European Championship hosted by Blizzard. He has also been playing well enough in NASL Season 3 to secure himself a spot in Season 4. NightEnD's play has been top notch lately, and we expect success from him in upcoming tournaments.
HomeStory Cup
HomeStory Cup 5 is the latest installment of the HomeStory Cup series and will likely feature the most difficult pool of players yet. The tournament will last from July 5th- July 8th. There have been 5 qualifiers and a number of high caliber invited players. NightEnD has participated in previous HomeStory Cups, and his most recent tournament run, points to a strong showing here.
The HomeStory Cup is a series of tournaments hosted and organized by Dennis 'TaKe' Gehlen. And by hosted, we mean inviting dozens of players to his home for several days of competition, interviews, and on-camera antics by players and casters alike. The competition is designed to be less formal and more personal with everyone participating, much to the delight of the audience. You can find the original announcement for the tournament here, and we will have the stream and updates for you at Fnatic.com.
