Code in eSports - Refer a friend for $500

We are looking for a software engineer to work full time on FNATIC.com and other exciting projects we currently work on, such as OMG eSports ! and more. 

Do you:

• - Get excited by the design and development of cloud-based web and mobile applications
• - Utilise open source technologies to increase speed & quality of development
• - Can work independently on your own challenges, and together in a team on the bigger vision with agile methodologies
• - Have extensive knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL and know your way around Apache, nginx or other server
• - Are completely fluent in a either Python, PHP or Ruby and have experience with web frameworks (we use Symfony) and the MVC concept. We don't require fluency in our current technology stack - great programmers can pick up new technologies.
• - Researching mobile devices and knowledge of mobile OS’s and their capabilities
• - Excited by new and emerging technologies and have a hunger to use them
• - Are aware of the ever growing new possibilities which HTML5 enable
• - Love solving complex problems for real businesses and startups

 This position is full time, with the choice of working from either home or our office in London/Poland. You will be working alongside other developers and designers in our sister company NEVERBLAND.

What we expect from you:

• - Excellent knowledge of English (including technical jargon) – both spoken and written. 
• - Love of games & eSports 
• - Ability to document your code.
• - Knowledge of TDD and ability to work with existing code.
• - Very good knowledge of PHP5, OOP and awareness of PHP 5.3 features.
• - Fluency in (X)HTML, and CSS.
• - Extensive knowledge of jQuery, AJAX and everything around them (DOM model, namespacing, events etc).
• - Familiarity with SVN and GIT.
• - Excellent ability to work in a team 
• - At least top 10 Grand Master
