ToD invited to HomeStory Cup V

FnaticRaidCall is happy to announce that another player has been added to the list of invited players for HomeStory Cup V - none other than Yoan "ToD" Merlo!. The French Protoss player has been with Fnatic since 2011 and we are excited that HomeStory Cup V will be a chance for him to show off his skills. He will be joined there by NightEnD, who was selected in an earlier announcement. ToD joined his teammates in Korea when Fnatic opened the new Gaming House, and the intensive training should pay off here!

ToD News

ToD's most recent event has been his participation in various TSL4 Qualifiers, including one on  June 27th in which he took the bronze and received points towards qualifying. Other than that, ToD has been relatively quiet of late, spending the majority of his time in Korea practicing with his teammates in the new Fnatic Gaming House. He attended DreamHack Summer 2012 and made it to the second group stage, narrowly missing the cut for the next round even though he had a 2:1 record. ToD participated in HomeStory Cup III and even beat ThorZaIN, so we know that his skills have not diminished since his Warcraft III heyday.

HomeStory Cup

HomeStory Cup 5 is the latest installment of the HomeStory Cup series and will likely feature the most difficult pool of players yet. The tournament will last from July 5th- July 8th. The HomeStory Cup is a series of tournaments hosted and organized by Dennis 'TaKe' Gehlen. He certainly takes the hosting duties seriously, inviting dozens of players to his home for several days of competition, interviews, and on-camera antics by players and casters alike. The competition is designed to be less formal and more personal with everyone participating, much to the delight of the audience. We will continue to have updates for you at Fnatic.com.
