AZiO Rundown - ToD wins Group C, in Playoffs

Tournament Information

The AZiO Rundown World Cup is a competition ran by the Cyber Sports Network, with 16 invited players fighting for their 16 unique teams. Yoan "ToD" Merlo was chosen to represent FnaticRaidCall. The Group Stage was played on Thursday June 28th, with the top two out of each pool advancing to the Finals Bracket. 

ToD won Group C in convincing fashion, beating all three of his opponents while dropping only a single map in the process. His opponents were all of very high level, and ToD dominated each of them in turn.

8 players advanced from the Group Stage to the Finals Bracket. The Round of 8 will be Best-of-3, while the Semi- and Grand Finals will be Best-of-5.

Playoffs

ToD's opponent in the Round of 8 will be the Swedish Zerg player SortOf. Although ToD has had problems with Zerg players recently, he will be favored going into the match up and was able to defeat Golden (a Korean Zerg) 2-1 in the Pools.
